The High School Resume

A resume is an overview of your education experience, employment history, extra-curricular involvement, honors, and awards. The purpose of creating a resume is to highlight your accomplishments and involvement throughout high school to admissions counselors or to a teacher/counselor that is writing a letter of recommendation on your behalf. Below is a sample college resume. Some colleges will give you an option to upload your resume; others will have you add the detail within your application. When listing activities, place them in order of importance to you. Be sure to provide a short description of the activity.
