THE COCOA SNAPSHOT SUSTAINABLE ANALYSIS CÔTE D’IVOIRE The data highlighted below is extracted from "Cocoa farmers' agricultural practices and well-being in Côte d'Ivoire," which includes insights from cocoa farmer and community baseline surveys, which Barry Callebaut conducted between 2013-14 together with development experts. Expansive surveys were conducted within 326 communities with whom Barry Callebaut implemented sustainability programs during this period, providing us with a greater understanding of challenges faced by cocoa farmer households in Ivory Coast. This information will enable us to better tailor and improve the training and services we offer men and women to increase farm productivity and household incomes, ensure children are in school, and help lift cocoa farming communities out of poverty. The report is published with the French Development Agency and available online from February 2017.
