HOUSTON FINE ART FAIR 2013 BARTHA CONTEMPORARY LONDON We are delighted to announce our participation at the Houston Fine Art Fair 2013, this is our first presentation in Houston and we worked closely with our artists to select a group of exceptional works for this event. The booth will showcase two key aspects of our gallery program. On the one hand we will present two brand-new paintings by American artists Winston Roeth and Kate Shepherd. Both have recently exhibited at the gallery and the works presented here are mile-stone pieces that will form the basis for new series of paintings that both artists have recently embarked on. On the other hand we will present a selection of recent works on paper by both European and American artists that make up the backbone of our program. We are particularly excited to be showcasing an early large-scale tide-drawing by Jill Baroff alongside some recent midnight drawings, which show how this series has developed over the past seven years. Another highlight are two recent films on paper by Stefana McClure, a suite of similar works from the same series has recently gone on public display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York as well as the Folkwang Museum in Essen, Germany.
