Display Typography There are two display fonts that are used. Cubano is used in the logo as a display font on most materials. It is an all caps font. When using this font on a poster mix it with Lobster Two. Lobster Two should not be used in all caps. Visual balance the size. Lobster Two will need to be a larger point size to balance with the bold all caps Cubano

About

the Boathouse

The Place for Paddlesports Metro Louisville has over 130 miles of rivers and streams for paddlesports and sailing. There are over 25 boat launch sites available for exploration by individuals and families; it is a true gateway to our region’s natural areas.

Facilities for safely storing canoes and kayaks are available, allowing participants to arrive at the boathouse by public transportation, bicycle or car for your downtown adventures. One of the largest events is the Mayor’s hike bike and paddle that occurs annually on Labor Day and Memorial Day. Visit the Louisville Community Boathouse facebook page for instructional and racing opportunities.

From the Community Boathouse dock, paddlers have direct access to Louisville’s waterfront and Beargrass Creek. The Beargrass Creek and Ohio River Confluence is one of the region’s best birding spots. Caution must be exercised while paddling from the boathouse, as the Ohio River is a major Commercial transportation corridor, the channel is well marked.
