This course is designed for training of employees who are at risk for exposure to blood and body fluids. The content is designed to meet the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) bloodborne standard (CFR: 1910.1030). Course Topics:      

The BBP Standard HIV/HEP B & C Workplace Transmission Personal Protective Equipment The Exposure Control plan Management of Sharps

     

Blood Spills Labeling Hand Washing/Hygiene Maintenance and Housekeeping Responding to Emergencies Dealing with Exposures

Identifies instructor’s name and instructor number Has a unique control number

Course Delivery:  DVD  Instructor lecture and skills demonstration  Written testing required for certification Certification Card:  Issued to passing students only  Valid for1 year
