Pre-conference Workshops for an Early Reboot Pre-conference workshops have something for everyone. Start the conference early and add to your conference experience with workshops on candidate support, renewal, higher education, diversity and advocacy. Unlike the 75-minute conference sessions, pre-conference workshops are four-hour intensive sessions that provide additional depth to these critical topics.
Scheduled workshops include:

Advancing Effective School Reform through NBCT Leadership – Learn strategies and techniques for leading school reform at local, state and federal levels.
NBCT Renewal – Learn more about renewing your NBCT status. Hear from NBPTS experts about the process and requirements.
Using National Board Standards to Build Initial and Continuing Teacher Professional Development Programs – Explore new ways to use the NBPTS Standards in higher education and beyond, beginning with pre-service and continuing throughout a teacher’s career.
Excellence through Equity and Access: Lessons Learned – Learn about a framework for developing recruitment and support strategies responsive to teachers in high-need schools.
