Every year we give festival bookers at the point of ticket purchase the chance to make a small donation to a fund which helps children and families who wouldn’t ordinarily be able to attend the festival. Our key aims are to inspire young people to read more, draw more and generally get creative! This money helps make it possible for more young people to meet that aim and to meet their literary heroes. 100% of your donation goes to children and families where it can make a real difference. Times are tough, and we work with schools and key organisations to make sure we reach the right people in most need of a little bit of reading magic in their lives.

THANK YOU TO OUR SUPPORTERS

We couldn’t stage the festival without all the many book publishers who send their authors and illustrators to Bath every year for 10 days of big, fun bookishness. Thank you also to all of the businesses, schools, media organisations, other partners and individuals who help make it all happen. You should all enjoy feelings of warmth and fuzzy eternal gratitude.
