Bayard Nielsen This weekend I will present at MERIT. I will help teachers use technology to lead to increased student learning. Next, I will go to Spain CataluĂąa and buy a car. I will pick up Lionel Messi and we will play football together.
Shari McDaniel This weekend I will walk the dogs. We will walk to the dog park, so that they can run around and play with friends. My dogs, Kirby and Kallie, are extremely smart. They will learn new languages at the dog park. Currently, they speak Australian Shepherd and Terrier, but after today they will also speak Beagle, German Shepherd, Pug, and Lab. Amazing!

CHERRY ON TOPPO CHOCOLATO
This weekend, I will be visiting Ghirdelli Square with all the oompa loompas. We are going to go hot chocolate jacuzzi. Then we will cool down and turn into fudge.
Jen Anderson This weekend I will go to New York City. I will stay in a fancy hotel in Times Square. I will go to the Broadway shows “Dear Evan Hansen” and “Wicked.” I will make sure to choose a flight that is cancelled, so I do not have to go back to work on Monday.
Shayna Peeff This Saturday I am getting inspired at the Krause Center for Innovation in our 2nd follow up meeting for Merit 17. Saturday night is time to cuddle and connect with my family, hopefully with a fireplace and some games or a movie. Sunday is time to catch up on life! I will do some laundry, grocery shop and work on my staff bulletin for the week. Then I might build a Lego city with my boys and cook dinner with my husband.
Lisa Guardino I tell you this even though I know I will be making all of you hecka-jealous. After I leave KCI, I will make my way to my daughter’s house to pick up my beloved grandchildren. I get to spend the weekend caring for them. This is my most favorite past time :)
Amy Kingsley This weekend I will take an overnight flight to Paris. I will shop on the Champs ElysĂŠes with the $10,000 award I was just given by KCI. I will eat a delicious 8 course meal at the Jules Verne, top of Eiffel Tower restaurant. I will get a massage from Jacques at the spa, then I will sleep in a suite on the top floor of the Georges V hotel.
Monique My daughter wants to switch bedrooms. So this weekend we are cleaning out 13 years worth of little kid stuff, painting walls, and figuring out how to have two bedrooms worth of furniture, boxes, and STUFF all stacked and balanced in one small hallway. The dogs are quite nervous and I need wine.
Bethany Lukach This weekend I will‌ attend a training at Foothill College. Then I will see my friends on Saturday night for sangria and girl talk. Tomorrow I will grade lots and lots of essays and pick up my boyfriend from SFO in the evening.
Rachel This weekend I am going to the happiest place on Earth, Disneyland! I have a hopper pass that allows me to go to both Disneyland and California Adventure. I can’t wait to check out the new Star Wars stuff. I finally get to be a kid again! After going to Disneyland I will visit with my friends and family that I have in Southern California to top off the best weekend ever!
Jenna Basinger This weekend I will go for a hike (if the rain lets up for a bit)! I want to go to one of the parks in the Pics in the Park challenge. If you get selfies at specific places in each park and tweet them, you win a prize.
Megan This weekend I will visit with my Godmother and her husband in Moss Beach. We will taste some of the beer that they have been homebrewing for the past few months!
In addition, my fiance and I will watch at least three more episodes of stranger things and order in.
Mia Gittlen I’m so excited to go watch the live stream of Ain’t Too Proud, a musical about the Temptations at the Berkeley Rep. The show is super popular and has been sold out. Paige Saunders This weekend I will grade math tests and finish my report cards.
After completing 33 report cards, I will go to Chucke Cheese’s and fall into the ball pit with no care of the children I will squash in the process.
Vicki I will fly my baloon to Oz, or maybe back home to Kansas! They’re about the same, really, right? Or, maybe, instead, I’ll just stay home and watch the movie. .
My Nguyen I am spending the first half of my Saturday with my MERIT family then doing a date night with my husband. We will probably go to Marnee Thai in San Francisco then go explore the city. On Sunday, I hoping to do absolutely nothing :) .
Marci I am going to fly into Atlanta and meet my friends. Then drive to to Alabama tand attend the Auburn football game. I can’t wait to go back to my Auburn and visit all the places I frequented. After the game, we will go to Toomer’s Corner and remember how we used to roll the trees, before the mean Alabama fan came and killed our large trees.
Kristi Van This weekend I will load my body with caffeine and take on the challenge of completing progress reports for my amazing group of kinders. It is sure to be a mind-blowing experience!
Eran DeSilva I am gearing up for my guest announcer spot for the Sunday night football game featuring the Oakland Raiders taking on the Miami Dolphins. Before the game I will be part of the practice and giving Derek Carr tips on how best to outplay the Dolphins. I will also be teaching the coaches how to use FlipGrid as a tool the players to use for self-reflection after the game. #Merit17&FootballFantasies
Kristi Schramm This weekend I will help my neighbor move her dyer from the garage to the laundry room. My 3 year old and one year old will watch with curiosity, while my husband does most of the heavy lifting. My son Luke will be frightened of the neighbor's dog, while my son Zeke will want dog licks on his face.
Genevieve Chan This weekend, I will fly to Hawaii and swim with the dolphins. I will spend hours laying on the beach and relaxing in the sun. After hiking through volcanos, I will end the weekend sipping mai tais while watching a Hawaiian sunset.

Kyle Tashman This weekend I will be traveling the world through GoogleEarth and looking at places that I have questions regarding, would like to gain more information about, and potentially visit. Yesterday I was able to travel to Fiji and the Taj Mahal. I also explored parts of St. Barts.
Lisa Stone This weekend, I will finish grading my students’ latest news articles in preparation for completing report cards by Friday. Given what I’ve read so far, the pieces are pretty good, which will make reading their writing less onerous than others might think it could be. I’ll be amazed if I’m able to get everything finalized by the end of the weekend, but it’s not one of the requirements I’m setting for myself. I’ll also get in a workout or two in order to keep me on my toes.
Bronia Whipp This weekend, I will sleep extra on Sunday because it is Daylight Savings! I will also go visit my Mom on Sunday night. She was visiting my nephews for Halloween, so I will get to hear about how adorable they were. I will also get to eat her amazing food. Image Attributions:

Zac Hansel This weekend I will be at Merit 2017, which will totally Rock! Then on Sunday I will be grading, planning and generally hating life (Which totally Sucks!) Hopefully it will rain and that will force me to feel like I can’t be outside. I may also end up ditching my family duties and heading to a coffee shop for some “peace and quiet” Grades due Next week!
Tami This weekend I will be preparing for my upcoming moving date on November 10th. I will be packing boxes and going to the new house to clean out the VERY scary basement (cobwebs, rat traps, and bug bombing OH MY!) I will then be enjoying a very large glass of wine (or two) as I mentally prepare for all the fun of moving next weekend.

Ari This weekend I will go to MERIT for the the second follow up session. Tomorrow I will give my two dogs Muddy and Hazel a bath.
Lisa Landsberg This weekend after being inspired at MERIT17, I will take a break and visit IKEA. My mission is to find a system for organizing and displaying my partner’s LEGO collection.
Jonathan This weekend, I am going to enter the mythical Cave of Darkness, from which derives both all fears and all joy. Deep inside of this cave resides the reptilian Queen Bette Midler (no relation), who has enslaved the universe's entire population of pugs as her evildoers. Legend has it that she took inspiration both from the monkeys in The Wizard of Oz and Bruiser, of Legally Blonde. I will enter this cave because the reptilian Queen Bette Midler has taken my beloved family dog, Betty, as her own. I cannot be entirely sure if I will be able to rescue Betty, the aggressively obese dog whom I adore in spite of and despite that fact.
Jeffrey Spafford This weekend, I will take a nap, drink wine, and start Season 2 of “Stranger Things” because I’m super tardy to the “Stranger Things” party but ridiculously obsessed.
