Texas Artisan is a front runner when it comes to unique home décor and gift stores. Terrie Ward, owner of Texas Artisan, a League City destination, is making a name for herself in the home decorating arena. Her signature florals and unmistakable combination of art, culture, and color can be found in businesses and homes from Galveston Bay to the Texas Hill Country.

Texas Artisan is in its fourth year of business. What makes Texas Artisan rock is a potpourri of things. They have an incredibly diverse collection of items in the store. “That seems to be the constant feedback we hear and also that the store ‘feels good.’ It’s a great place to be,” says Ward. “It’s not unusual for folks to come in and browse around for over an hour. I also give so much credit to the Texas Artisan family,” Ward continues.

Terrie Ward firmly believes you are only as good as the people with whom you are surrounded. Ward is so grateful to have manager, Birgit and team member Karis. Both of these rockstars have been with Texas Artisan for over a year. Birgit’s husband, Joe, is also an everpresent Godsend and spends an incredible amount of time tirelessly keeping the store’s ducks in a row.

Deb, our accountant, has been on board since day one. “I can’t tell you how invaluable her expertise has been and continues to be for Texas Artisan. The best part of our store family is exactly that—it’s truly like a family. We work hard, we laugh and we love the store and each other. I couldn’t possibly ask for more,” says Ward. “For this, I am so deeply grateful and blessed.”

Terrie Ward also states that the next blessing is, without a doubt, our unbelievably gifted and diverse artists. “Each is a master at their craft and I continue to be amazed by their unlimited talents. If a customer asks for it, these ladies nail it every time. That is the key to ensuring each experience is unique and fabulous for every home or business. These ladies each have their own special brand and are quite frankly incredible.”
