“I am honored to carry on Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital’s long tradition of providing health care excellence to the Clear Lake community,” Little said. “Our doctors, nurses and staff are part of a health care system dedicated to leading medicine, and I look forward to working diligently with our outstanding team to meet the needs of this great community.”
Throughout his decade of service with Houston Methodist Little has devoted his time, energy and expertise to the surrounding communities, serving as a board member for Northwest Assistance Ministries and Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce. He holds a master of science in health care administration and a bachelor of science in business administration from Trinity University.
In his new role, Little works with Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital’s 1,200 employees to build upon the legacy of an institution that has been part of the community for more than 50 years. Originally opened in 1972 as Space Center Memorial Hospital, the hospital closed within a year but reopened in 1978 as a U.S. Public Health hospital. It later became part of the Sisters of Charity Health system and ultimately was renamed St. John Hospital.
Houston Methodist acquired the hospital in 2014, making it one of seven Houston Methodist community hospitals in the most rapidly growing parts of the Houston and Harris County region.
