WORDS OF THANKS
TO THE BAYLOR FAMILY,
Welcome to CELEBRATIONS 2025: RED ALERT!
This much-anticipated biennial auction is a special occasion where we come together as a community to celebrate Baylor’s accomplishments and raise the critical funds that support and sustain our commitment to excellence. This event is an essential part of our fundraising efforts for The Baylor Fund, and I continue to be amazed by the generosity of those who give their time, expertise, and financial support to ensure that our students receive the best experience imaginable.
On behalf of the entire Baylor community, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the many volunteers and dedicated staff members who have worked tirelessly to make tonight possible. A special thank you to our co-chairs, Andee Guthrie, Amy Frost Haddock ’97, and John Haddock ’97, for their exceptional leadership and commitment in making this evening such a success.
Finally, I am grateful to each of you for being here. Your participation, enthusiasm, and generosity make a profound difference in the lives of our students. Let’s make tonight the most successful auction in Baylor’s history!
GO BIG RED!
Chris Angel ’89, Head of School
TO THE BAYLOR COMMUNITY,
Welcome to CELEBRATIONS 2025: RED ALERT!
Thank you for joining us for this year’s Baylor Celebrations Auction – a night to remember and a chance to make a BIG RED difference! We are thrilled to bring you an unforgettable evening filled with fun, energy, and purpose as we come together to support the school we all love. It takes every corner of the Baylor Universe – parents, alumni, faculty, staff, trustees, volunteers, and friends – to make this event a success. To all of you, we give a resounding BIG RED THANK YOU!
Every two years, we gather as a community for Celebrations. And tonight, it’s all about the heartbeat of Baylor and the center of our universe: our STUDENTS. The funds raised during this event power everything that makes Baylor extraordinary –from innovative classrooms and athletic excellence to world-class arts and a vibrant campus life. Your support ensures that every student’s Baylor Experience is nothing short of exceptional.
But Celebrations is about more than raising money – it’s about celebrating us. Tonight, we honor the incredible institution that unites us, the friendships that inspire us, and the pride that fuels us. Let’s show the world what makes Baylor the place to be – a place where opportunities are endless, future generations are inspired, and lifelong bonds are formed.
A special BIG RED THANK YOU goes to our incredible record setting sponsors! Your generosity makes tonight possible, covering the event costs so that every dollar raised from our auction goes directly to benefit our students.
Now, let’s make this an evening to remember. Thank you and GO BIG RED!
Andee Guthrie, Amy Frost Haddock ’97, and John Haddock ’97, Celebrations ’25 Co-Chairs

SPECIAL PROJECT
ENHANCING HEALTH, WELLNESS, AND ARTISTIC EXPERIENCES AT BAYLOR
Since 2009, Celebrations has featured a “special project” for guests to support on the evening of the live auction. With your help tonight, the money raised for this year’s special project will be evenly split toward improvements to the cardio room, choir room, and Roddy Theater.
CARDIO ROOM REFRESH
The Field House cardio room is used by all students during the school week and provides boarding students with a place to meet and work out during evenings and weekends, fostering community and improving physical and mental health. Yet, much of the equipment is more than 25 years old. The “cardio clean” will include new treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, stair climbers, and
free weights, making workouts more effective and enjoyable, and catering to the preferences of today’s students.
RODDY REFRESH
Roddy hosts a variety of performances for our Baylor community and gives our middle and upper school students an opportunity to develop their artistic talents and to shine on stage. This refresh will provide new chairs and carpet in Roddy Theater, as well as seated risers in the choir room, replacing original furnishings from 1998. With these enhancements and the addition of a scissor lift and a new scrim curtain, Baylor students and audiences will have a better environment to enjoy theater and dance performances and experiences.
