WORDS OF THANKS
TO THE BAYLOR FAMILY,
Welcome to CELEBRATIONS RED (baylor’s version)! Every two years we have the opportunity to gather together as a community to joyfully recognize our accomplishments as a school and to help ensure that our commitment to excellence is financially viable. I am continuously amazed at the number of people who give so much of their time, talent, and treasure to help us provide the best experience imaginable for our students. Watching this year’s event come together has been truly remarkable. Peggy and I are in awe as we prepare for our first official Celebrations since returning home last year!
I am beyond impressed with the breadth and depth of the items and experiences that we have available this year, and I look forward to participating with you this evening as we come together in the spirit of all things Baylor! I am certain that our generous community will rise to the challenge of making tonight an overwhelming success!
On behalf of all of us in the Baylor community, I want to thank all our volunteers for the countless hours put into preparing for tonight as well as our team of dedicated staff. I want to give a special note of thanks to our co-chairs Alexis Guerry Bogo ’89, Jennifer Fuller, and Missy Talley for all they have done to make this evening special for us. Finally, I am grateful to each of you for being here, and I invite you to join in and make tonight the most successful auction of all time! Let’s do this!!!
GO BIG RED!
Chris Angel ’89, Head of School
WELCOME TO CELEBRATIONS RED (baylor’s version)!
Thank you for being a part this year’s Baylor Celebrations Auction! We are excited to bring you a fun-filled evening that is exclusively RED (baylor's version). It takes an incredible number of people to make Celebrations a success – parents, alumni, staff, faculty, volunteers, trustees, and friends of Baylor. All these groups deserve a BIG RED THANK YOU!!
Every other year we come together as a community for Celebrations. This event happens for one reason, the heart of our school and the center of our Baylor Universe, our STUDENTS. The funds raised help support our campus, classrooms, athletics, fine arts and everything in between!
In addition to raising money, Celebrations also provides an evening for our community to come together, to celebrate each other and the extraordinary institution we call Baylor School. Tonight is an extra special evening because it is Peggy and Chris Angel’s first Celebrations – the energy, support and love they have brought to campus has been a gift to our entire community. Let’s thank them by making this year’s event the BEST EVER!!
And finally, a special BIG RED THANK YOU to our sponsors – without you this evening would not be possible. Your generosity ensures the expenses to put Celebrations on are covered and that every dollar raised from auction items goes directly to our STUDENTS!
Thank you to all and GO BIG RED!
Alexis Guerry Bogo ’89, Jennifer Fuller, and Missy Talley, Celebrations ’23 Co-Chairs

SPECIAL PROJECT
ENHANCING THE CENTER OF STUDENT LIFE AT BAYLOR
Since 2009, Celebrations has featured a “special project” for guests to support on the evening of the auction. With the help of our generous donors, we have made many important campus improvements designed to enhance the Baylor Experience for our students.
This year’s auction theme, RED (baylor’s version), is a nod to fun and enjoyment. It’s the perfect theme to kick off a transformation of the Student Center, which should serve as a central hub for students but has fallen short in recent years due to outdated and worn furnishings, carpeting, and décor.
Your generous donation will enable us to convert Baylor’s Student Center into a fresh and inviting space that will:
Encourage students to gather, study, and relax. Become a welcoming space for social events, club and organizational meetings, student group projects, and recreation.
Foster a sense of community.
Play a critical role in enhancing the overall experience for all students.
