2021 Bayside Academy Summer Program Catalog
Bayside Academy is the perfect place for your child to enjoy summer! Bayside 2021 Summer Programs offer a wide variety of options that will keep campers entertained and engaged!
Registration is available online only and will open February 8 to Bayside Academy students and March 1 to the general public. Registration grade indicates the camper’s grade for the 2021-2022 school year. Please check online for program minimums and maximums, as well as other program details. Bayside Academy reserves the right to change the details of any camp/program. Bayside summer camps will operate in accordance with the CDC guidelines in effect at the time of the camp. We will continue to monitor the school's COVID protocols and will modify as necessary. We are committed to our campers having a safe, healthy, and fun-filled summer. Lesley Richards From hand puppets to rod puppets to marionettes, campers will create their own performing partners and learn how to entertain with this unique form. There will be a performance on the final day of camp.

Haley Hall This beach themed art camp is what summer is all about! Campers will bring home the memories of summer using driftwood, seashells, sand, and more in their artwork. The last day of camp will include a cookie decorating party! Everyone will have waves of fun during the many planned activities.

Meagan Daves This pirate themed camp will have campers playing games and creating many crafts including a treasure chest, pirate parrot, pirate sword, boat, and sea monster! Students will have fun while engaging in crafts and learning facts about pirates throughout history.

Gulf Coast Young Engineers Campers will learn many fun physical science and engineering facts while making a different robotic model each day. Various activities and art projects that coordinate with the lessons will also be a part of the camp experience.

Alan Katz & National Master Abby Marshall Campers will have the opportunity to improve their chess skills. Beginners welcome. Participants will be divided by skill level. We will focus on preparing students for tournament competition.

Brittany Davidson Girls will learn fundamental basketball skills with emphasis on teamwork, fun, and good sportsmanship. Passing, dribbling, shooting, as well as development of skills with free throws, lay-ups, starts, stops, turns, and the “gun” will be emphasized during the camp. June 7-10 | 500-630 | Grades 3-7
Dane Lumsden This camp will give any level soccer player the opportunity to enjoy the sport while developing individual and team skills. The camp stresses the love of the game and concentrates on fundamental soccer skills.
Phil Lazenby Campers will work different positions that hone in on skills needed based off the position graded level. Players will test their footwork, route running, and speed. There will be QB challenges, as well as learning offensive and defensive schemes. July 19-22 | 830-1200 | Grades 3-6

Scott Johnston Camp Bayside offers campers the opportunity to explore, create, play, and discover! Campers immerse themselves in summer fun while exploring the world around them. Counselors provide an engaging and safe learning environment for the campers to enjoy while they participate in fun activities. Camp Bayside allows campers to make new friends, and strengthen both minds and bodies in a fun environment. The camp fee is all-inclusive with lunch and a camp shirt and weekly field trips. There is a non-refundable $65 registration fee.
