How many two or more letter words can you make in 2 minutes from the letters in: Get Your Goat (40 words) Has anyone gotten your goat by irritating you to anger? Did you even know you had a goat to get? Well, this saying had its beginnings in horse racing. Apparently, thoroughbred racehorses are an unstable bunch when stabled, and need a stabilizing friend to stabilize their instability. So, stablers established the stabilization practice of stabling a goat with the horse to reestablish calm. But if someone wanted to destabilize the horse in order for it to lose a race, the detestable method was to steal the stablemate goat. Got it? Well, give it back.
