BAZE FOCUS Magazine is five years old and Baze University is Ten Years Old! Hearty Congratulations to an iconic University as it marks a DECADE of quality service; the best is yet to come. Last year was a tough year; the CORONAVIRUS year that changed the course of social interaction in human history. Thankfully, collective global efforts have shifted the Covid-19 Pandemic pendulum backwards but humanity will continue to live with the implications of the attendant disaster for some time to come.
BAZE FOCUS Magazine is a platform used by the university to share major events and new innovation with members of the public. This is the 2021 Edition and it coincides with the th7 & th8 Combined Convocation Ceremonies. Convocation could not take place last year due to the Covid-19 restrictions on public assembly; but today the University celebrates our deserving Class of 2020 and 2021 on an auspicious moment. To our graduands: you are survivors, products of our unique brand; go out there and show your knowledge and skills as deserving Ambassadors of our great University. To our dear parents, thank you for making Baze University part of the history of your family’s investment in the education of your children and wards. Quality University Education opens doors to a better life and Baze University is the destination of choice. The Baze Brand keeps its promise on excellence. Congratulations to All, (Management, Staff and Students) as we celebrate our Ten Years Journey - an interesting ride on the Bus of Excellence, and the commissioning of the newly built 250 Bed capacity Baze Hospital. The Best is yet to come. To our Readers, it is a privilege to invite you to another sumptuous Edition of our Magazine. I present to you contributions from the Faculties: the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences – Practical Experiences are the Hallmark; the Faculty of Computing & Sciences where a final year student, designed an Artificial Intelligence Virus Control System; the Faculty of Management & Social Sciences and Strength in Numbers; Faculty of law and experiential learning; Faculty of Engineering and Green Experts; and the College of Medicine announcing the Arrival of the Medical Degree Programme.
