2013 Since 1976, Z-Flex has transcended the skateboarding industry with innovation. Z-Flex has paralleled beside a culture of punk rock, surf and skate, embedding itself in the essence of California. Now, in 2013, Z-Flex introduces a new generation of skateboards to the legendary brand. We’ve brought back three colorways from Jay Adams’ iconic pro model and injected two new 80’s shapes including a cameo from the famous “Street Rocket.” In addition, we’ve recreated a modern version of the 60’s inspired barefoot sidewalk Chipper board with Uppercut Deluxe. We have also improved our (now famous) double pintail longboard. Lastly, we’ve worked with the “Original seed of skateboarding,” (Jay Adams) to pay homage to one of his most influential locations – the Pacific Ocean Pier – to exhibit a collection that will feature four new shapes to the Z-Flex stable. All of our completes features 100% Canadian hard rock maple, Abec7 bearings and custom branded Z-Flex hardware making this season’s range, our best collection to date. Z-Flex. Generations Strong.

JAY ADAMS PRO MODEL Z-boy, Jay Adams, dubbed by some as the “Original Skateboarder”, is the archetype of modern day skateboarding. JIMMY PLUMER COMPLETES Jimmy Plumer grew up in Florida but spent his summers in Santa Monica skating with “Z-Boyz,” Tony Alva and Jay Adams. When he returned, he translated what he had learned into the east coast skateboarding scene. Labled the “Z-East Boyz,” Jimmy Plumer led an unheralded crew of skateboarders through the 1970s The Jimmy Plumer completes feature an authentic shape that was tried, tested and proven by Jimmy himself during the late 70s.

P.O.P. SERIES Pacific Ocean Pier (P.O.P.) has been a surf/skate playground of the Z-Boyz for generations. The P.O.P. spray series reflects the Venice Beach garage days, personalizing their environment and expressing their individuality.
