THE JOURNEY IN DELIVERING THE MISSION AND VISION FOR THE DIOCESE

This Letter outlines six priorities for the people of the Diocese, beginning with the person of Jesus Christ and including themes of discipleship, building a culture vocation, unity, education, and caring for the poor and vulnerable.

This document outlines the mission and vision, the values and goals of Evangelisation Broken Bay. It introduces the four teams who will help guide parishes, ministries and our community, This plan will and support clergy in outline and timeline the proclaiming the strategic initiatives that will activate Good News of

One in Christ over the next three years. Jesus Christ. Each of the Evangelisation teams will have key goals and objectives linked to programs and events which are effective and accountable.

Who We Are

OUR FOUNDATION

Prayer and a deep relationship with Christ is our bedrock and what sustains our entire mission. We can only live our call fruitfully if we rely completely on the grace of God and on the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

OUR SHARED MISSION

The community of the Church of Broken Bay exists to evangelise; to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, to gather as one body, and be sent out as disciples on mission.

OUR PURPOSE

Evangelisation Broken Bay exists to support our parishes, clergy, and faith communities to provide formation and catechesis within the Diocese of Broken Bay in living out this mission.
