Faith in Action is a Human Services non-profit serving low-income residents of Chelsea and Dexter School districts, the Scio Farms neighborhood, and Grass Lake with a full-service food pantry. Also available by appointment to anyone is a free clothing room, with a free shower and laundry on site, and free durable medical equipment. Additional programming is available for financially qualifying Chelsea and Dexter School District residents which includes emergency utility shut-off prevention, eviction prevention, back-to-school K-12 backpacks, Thanksgiving meal supplies, December Holiday Gift sponsorship, Spring Family Activity Bag, and more.
Staff is available by appointment for MI Bridges navigation and employment counseling from Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm (Wednesday until 7pm), and Friday 10am-2pm.
