Word Games to Go!

Any time can be learning time! Here are a few tips to help you build your child’s word power while you’re on the go.

1) Find the first letter of your child’s name on the plane, in the car or at the hotel.

2) Sing songs together.

3) Hat. Cat. Sat. Rhyme words with your child.

4) Share a story with your child, then ask your child to share one with you.

5) Point out words on signs as you travel.

6) Use mealtime! Point out letters on menus and find words that start with the same letters.
