Summer Internship Program for Sales Brown & Brown is a team of insurance professionals that value the entrepreneurial spirit and the idea of meritocracy. Here, we are focused on developing teammates who are driven to succeed. We look for highly competitive, driven, proactive, disciplined, self-managing, and high-achieving individuals to join our team.

The Brown & Brown Summer Internship Program for Sales is an 8-week, paid internship at our Beach Street Campus Headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida. This program places students directly into our fast-paced commercial insurance departments and is designed to provide real-world experience to those interested in an insurance brokerage career.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

CASE STUDY COMPETITION

• Join our fast-paced commercial insurance departments with 12 to 15 peers from universities around the country • Local housing provided in Daytona Beach, Florida • Weekly informational and technical classes

As part of the internship, you will prepare a Risk Management Case Study. At the end of the program, you will have the opportunity to present your case study to a panel of Company leaders. One team will be selected to win a cash prize.

• Attendance at all producer training and sales team meetings • Attendance at company or carrier sponsored events

CIAB SCHOLARSHIP

• Off-site visit to the risk management department of a large customer • Off-site visit to one of our national carrier partners • Evening and dinner at the home of Brown & Brown’s Chairman • Intern & mentor social event

Participating students will be eligible to apply for a $5,000 scholarship provided through The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB).

UNIVERSITY CREDITS This program can be tailored for you to receive academic credits, subject to University requirements.
