Nursing Review & Re-entry into Practice
This 88-hour nursing review course includes classroom instruction, skills sessions, and clinical experience. This course is designed to prepare nurses (RN’s & LPN’S) who are interested in re-entering nursing practice (TBD) Requirements needed before clinical experience: Current PA Nurse’s license, current Healthcare Provider CPR certification, flu shot, professional liability insurance, healthcare insurance, medical clearance, criminal background check by the State Police. Dental Assisting (100 hrs.)
This 100-hour Dental Assisting Program prepares you for entry level positions in one of the fastest growing health care positions – Dental Assisting. The purpose of this course is to familiarize you with all areas of pre-clinical dental assisting and provide training in the professional skills required to function as an assistant in the dental practice. Additionally, this course is designed to prepare you to sit for the DANB Radiology Health and Safety Examination (RHS). The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania requires that any dental office employee who will be performing radiological procedures as auxiliary personnel (other than a licensed dentist or dental hygienist) must take and pass the DANB Radiology Health and Safety Examination (RHS) and register with the State. Pharmacy Technician Comprehensive (75 hrs.)
The Pharmacy Technician Certificate Program at Bucks County Community College is a comprehensive, 75-hour didactic course.
