Join us in a variety of exciting activities, such as fishing, Mock Trial, Innovative Leadership, and more.
For each program, the materials fee has been included in the program’s price.

Creative Self-Expression - Newtown Campus
Learn how to express yourself through creative writing! Writing is a skill that is needed in our everyday life, but many have a mental block when it comes to expressing oneself through writing . Writing is often considered difficult, and many find it a chore to put pen to paper . However, the good news is that writing is a skill that can be developed . Here at Creative Self-Expression, you will find that writing provides you with the invaluable opportunity to be able to express yourself without inhibitions . Come join us and let’s write for fun! Fabulous Fishing – Newtown Campus
Campers will go on daily excursions to Tyler State Park to learning the practice of fishing, basic fish identification, and some friendly challenges related to fishing (i .e . biggest fish caught, farthest cast, the greatest number of fish caught, etc .) . If needed, bait will be supplied . It is recommended that campers bring their own fishing rods, but rods can be supplied as well . Instruction on safe casting, baiting of hooks, good fishing areas, and good fishing etiquette will be presented . Bring rain gear when necessary . Instructors: Harrison Black and Evan Black for Weeks 2 and 4
Innovative Leadership – Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks
A four-day LEADERSHIP experience focusing on developing the skills high school sophomores and juniors need for personal and professional growth . This interactive experience focuses on looking at problems as opportunities for improvement given the realities of the “new workplace .” Creative ideas will be generated and participants will envision a path that leads to that idea becoming a reality . Workshops include team building, motivational speakers, entrepreneurs, goal setting, and a field trip . Perfect for high school students interested in business, leadership development, and the skills they will need to succeed in any career . Instructor: Kelly Sell
Fire Academy – Newtown Campus
Introducing the youth of Buck’s County to today’s fire and emergency medical services, emphasizing community service and civic involvement through positive mentoring,
training, education and career development . At the camp, they will learn leadership techniques and soft skills as well as be introduced to firefighting skills, hose lay evolutions, ladder techniques, proper use of firefighting tools and equipment, and other related subjects . Attendees will receive training and certification in Basic First Aid and CPR . We look forward to you joining our Explorer program and exploring all the possibilities! Instructor: Fire Academy
Mock Trial 1 – Newtown Campus
*This camp is structured like a class at school. Recommended for participants who are seriously interested in law. After learning about the Constitution and the court system, students will learn trial skills such as opening statements, closing argument, direct and cross examination of witnesses, how to get things into evidence . They role play as attorneys and as witnesses and the week culminates in a Mock Trial for a Jury of their families, friends and other students . There will also be a “Meet the Judge,” over Zoom . Music and Voice Production – Newtown Campus
Participants will have a blast developing their skills in songwriting, music recording, voice-overs, and audio equipment operation . Participants can work interchangeably as talent and/or crew, behind the scenes or behind the microphone . They will learn vocal warm up routines, perform voice-overs and TV/radio announcements, have a blast singing karaoke to their favorite songs, and the best part is they will have the unique opportunity to create their very own song from start to finish and record it live . Participants will produce a song from beginning to end and have a copy of that song to share with friends and family for years to come . Participants will receive one professionally edited audio CD that contains all of their camp recordings for the week . Instructor: East Coast Recording
Stone Age Technologies – Newtown Campus
What types of technologies were created and used in the past? We’ll explore how ancient people lived and how they made stone tools, hunted, crafted ceramics and understood the natural world .
