I’ve decided to leave this Earth In search for everlasting peace That’s experienced behind closed eyes In dreams Serene scenes of a sinner’s solemn slumber I’ve decided to leave this Earth In search for missing pieces of me Travel the seas on this makeshift boat Equipped with the shirt on my back Using intuition as my map To escape this place that had me trapped I’ve decided to leave this Earth In search for the sparks that I miss Staring down the same ocean that violently battles itself But on this shore, my feet, it kiss I’ve decided to leave this Earth Knowing that I will never return In search for a place to call my own Or even die while on this ride Leaving behind my possessions With those who once held me captive So I can join my ambitions And find myself across this sea
