FROM LINDSAY
Canadian Geographic Indigenous Peoples Atlas of Canada (2018) indigenouspeoplesatlasofcanada.ca This beautifully written and illustrated series consists of four volumes: Truth and Reconciliation, First Nations, Inuit and Métis. Each volume covers a wide variety of topics, such as activism, filmmaking, language, oral traditions, place names, worldview and material culture (my archaeological background cannot resist mentioning the latter). They are rich with archival maps, documents and images, combining both past and present perspectives in a holistic manner. It is definitely worth “getting lost” in the Indigenous Peoples Atlas of Canada.
On behalf of our members, we would like to thank the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and the BC Arts Council for their support of the arts and culture sector during the COVID-19 pandemic. The BCMA has been in close contact with the BC Arts Council on the best ways to provide immediate financial assistance and sustainable policies.

In this series, the art of tattoo becomes a lens for exploring some of the planet’s oldest cultures and their unique perspectives on life, identity, and the natural world. Season one features Dion Kaszas (ep. 4) and Nahaan (ep. 6) who you may remember from our article on the Bill Reid Gallery's exhibit Body Language, curated by Kaszas, in issue 274 of Roundup.
