THE BROADBAND COMPETENCE OFFICES SUPPORT FACILITY
The Broadband Competence Offices Support Facility (BCO-SF) BCO-SF is a European Commission funded project aiming to contribute to the implementation of the EU Digital Agenda targets on broadband roll-out. It will provide information and guidance to national and regional stakeholders in charge of broadband deployment. It also aims to promote the setting-up of new BCOs. The BCOs Support Facility has started its activities in January 2017, with a group of experts working closely with DG AGRI, DG CNECT and DG REGIO.

The BCOs Support Facility will contribute to the achievement of the EU broadband targets.

The Broadband Competence Offices Support Facility (BCO-SF) BUILD CAPACITY The BCOs Support Facility will provide information and guidance to the national and regional BCOs and aims to assist those countries where a BCO has not yet been established in doing so. The BCOs Support Facility will also spread know-how across key stakeholders, both public and private. It will also provide technical and financial guidance for the implementation of broadband projects. SHARE KNOWLEDGE The BCOs Support Facility aims to produce knowledge and share experience and best practices on broadband investments in Europe. The BCOs Support Facility will organise training sessions, events, forums and will spread examples of good practices across Member States in order to inspire broadband investors.
