Acknowledged as a centre of teaching excellence in Britain, all of Kingston University’s faculties have achieved excellent ratings in the government’s teaching assessments. One of the largest UK colleges, based in north Wales, close to Bangor University, the college specialises in pre-university courses, specifically English language and International Foundation. The Foundation course is validated by Bangor University and enables progression to Bangor or other UK universities. The Foundation has ten subject-area routes. Tuition fees for both English and the Foundation are £5,000 per year and there are some scholarships of 20% and 40% (please enquire and apply). Students can enter the English course throughout the year, for periods of less than a year. The English programme is designed for students preparing for undergraduate or post-graduate courses in the UK. Bangor is a busy university town in a beautiful location by the sea. There is a full range of student services and activities available in the college and the town. Accommodation costs vary, but on average £3-4,000 per year (or £300-£400 per month). The college’s English language department has classes for a range of levels and international students from a wide range of countries.

The Kingston University International Office offers more than 60 scholarships and bursaries per year to international students. These awards are given to encourage academic excellence, increase the diversity of its student population and develop relationships. International scholarships of the University are partial scholarships, each worth £3,500. Kingston also awards Loyalty Bursaries for students who have studied at the university before, or who have a close family member who has studied there. WMG Scholarships Awards will be up to 50% of tuition fees will be offering £500,000 worth of scholarships for Masters study across its programmes. WMG guarantees bursaries to all MSc students from Turkey. The exact amount varies according to GPA achieved. The range of discount is from £3,000 - £5,500 per student. These bursaries are open to Turkish Nationals paying overseas fees and studying on a WMG MSc programme starting October 2015.

The University of York was established in 1963 and, in only 51 years, it established its position as one of the world’s top 100 universities. It is a research intensive university and very proud of the fact that all its teaching is delivered by academics who are at the forefront of research in their area of expertise. The University’s best ranked departments include Biosciences (4th in the UK), English Literature (1st in the UK for the quality of our research), Psychology, Politics, Law, Social Policy (all ranked within the top 10 in the UK).
