This year marks the 24th year of the Schoodic Arts Festival, which provides visual and performing arts workshops and performances for the Schoodic Peninsula and the surrounding region. This year’s festival will take place across three weeks from July 25- August 13, including 50 workshops, 12 lunchtime events and 14 free evening performances. These exciting workshops cover topics ranging from painting to pottery, writing to dance and cooking — and everything in between! SCHOODICARTSFORALL.ORG

A date for this yearly celebration of community arts in the Orono area has yet to be determined. Venues across Orono typically showcase music, theater, dance, poetry and more, in an all-day, family-friendly artistic extravaganza. The event is organized by Stillwater Community Arts.
