There will be over 40 vendors on Harlow Street and in Pierce Park, featuring art for sale in nearly every medium.

LIBRARY

The Bangor Public Library has a full events calendar, including book clubs, technology tutoring, author talks and one-off workshops like photography throughout the summer. And did you know the library features four rotating art galleries with works from Maine artists? The exhibits change every two months, so there’s always something new to see. The library is also one of many architecturally fascinating buildings in downtown Bangor, with its distinctive copper-framed dome and large fireplaces on the first floor. First Fridays

First Fridays events are held in many cities across the country and provide an opportunity for artists and arts organizations, businesses, and individuals to gather and support their communities with a variety of programming designed to increase engagement.

Downtown Bangor’s first First Friday will feature special performances, numerous art openings, artists talks, restaurant specials, and kid friendly activities!
