CUSTOM EXHAUST SPECIALIST

HOLLYWOOD — “Joker” opened in October 2019, grossed $1.7 billion, received 11 Oscar nominations, won two, including best actor for Joaquin Phoenix, and then silence. Usually when a film is a runaway hit like, say, “Top Gun: Maverick,” sequel talk starts immediately, but there was no sequel talk for “Joker” ... until now! Director Todd Phillips has written (with Scott Silver) and will direct the sequel, “Joker: Folie a Deux” (a French medical term for a rare mental disorder in which two people share the same delusion). Even though we haven’t heard much from Phoenix, he’s been busy completing “Disappointment Blvd.,” with Parker Posey, Nathan Lane and Patti LuPone, and then immersed himself in creating his “Napoleon,” as directed by Ridley Scott for Apple TV+. Among actors who’ve portrayed Napoleon are Marlon Brando (“Desiree,” 1954), Rod Steiger (“Waterloo,” 1970), Ian Holm (“The Emperor’s New Clothes,” 2001) and Christian Clavier (“Napoleon,” 2002). Joaquin has some mighty big shoes to fill. *** Speaking of “Top Gun: Maverick,” there is a big legal dogfight brewing between Paramount Pictures and the Israeli-based widow and son of Ehud Yonay, the man who wrote the original article in California Magazine in 1983 that “Top Gun” was based on. Paramount says the copyright expired after 35 years and it didn’t need to be renewed. It plans to “vigorously fight” because the Yonays believe their copyright was still in effect and want big bucks. *** Hats off to Matthew McConaughey for standing up in front of the whole world “As a father, gun owner and a Texan from Uvalde.” McConaughey, who now lives in Austin, called for all Americans to “step up for change in gun responsibility, including enacting background checks, red flag laws and upping the age requirement to 21.” He further added, “I don’t support gun control, I support gun responsibility.”

Depositphotos

Joaquin Phoenix He took time from making films while he considered running for governor of Texas, but after careful consideration, he reconsidered. *** If you’re old enough to remember “The Munsters” TV series, which ran from 1964-66, it probably just brought a smile to your face. If you don’t remember the original series, there were five films from 1966-1996. Rob Zombie, who wrote and directed “House of 1000 Corpses” (2003) and two highly profitable “Halloween” sequels in 2007 and 2009 (both starring Malcolm McDowell of “A Clockwork Orange” fame), has written and is directing “The Munsters,” with Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman, Sheri Moon Zombie (his wife) as Lili, and Daniel Roebuck as Grandpa. Both Pat Priest and Butch Patrick (the original Munster children) have cameos in the movie. Zombie is producing the film for Peacock and promises it will be faithful to the original series. Even Frankenstein never had it this good! © 2022 King Features Synd., Inc.

How to navigate a salary negotiation Women are vital components of the global workforce. Despite the contributions of women, Pew Research Center’s analysis of median hourly wages of both full- and part-time workers indicates that women earn less than their male counterparts — even when they’re doing the same work and have the same educational backgrounds. The gender gap has remained relatively stable in the United States over the last 15 years, with women earning 84 percent of what men earned in 2020. Estimates indicate it would take a woman an extra 42 days of work to earn as much as a male colleague. Salary negotiations can be intimidating for any employee. But for women already at an earnings deficit, such negotiations can be even more difficult. Here are some tips to make salary negotiations go more smoothly. Speak up It would seem that any promotion would automatically come with a pay raise, but this is not always the case. When the time comes to consider taking a promotion, it is important to have a salary number in mind. Saying nothing may not earn you a raise, or your boss may not give you what you believe you deserve. Do your research Some jobs come with a standard pay rate across the board. These include government and civil service jobs, union jobs, or hourly positions. However, you can determine if a job is negotiable by researching data on sites such as Payscale and Glassdoor to figure out what positions are worth. Arming yourself with information makes you ready to present data supporting your salary demands.

Don’t be afraid to ask Even if an offer seems acceptable, it is alright to ask for more money, according to The Balance: Careers. A company may actually increase the base pay or offer other perks such as larger bonuses, stock options or full 401(k) matching. Avoid “Imposter syndrome” Thoughts, beliefs and feelings can hold you back, especially when it comes to salary negotiations. Most professionals at some point in time experience what’s often referred to as “Imposter syndrome.” This is a name given by a team of psychologists in 1978 that referred to people who had difficulty acknowledging their achievements, although their peers respected them. Doubting ca-

pabilities, worrying about someone calling your skills “fake” or discounting your achievements are symptoms of imposter syndrome. Comparing yourself to others — especially those who are more advanced — may lead to uneasiness as well. Focus more positively on what you do at work and be proud of what you have achieved. This will help you sit more confidently in front of employers negotiating for your benefit. Workers need to advocate for themselves and ask for salaries they believe are commensurate with their skill levels and positions. It can be daunting to negotiate for a better salary, but there are many ways to simplify such negotiations

I saw that there is another movie or series coming out on Marilyn Monroe. The actress does resemble her with the wig, but who is she and what does she look like without it? — N.L. There have been many films, both on television and in theaters, about movie star Marilyn Monroe, but the newest one, “Blonde,” is a product of Netflix and will star Ana de Armas. It’s based on the novel of the same name by Joyce Carol Oates, which, according to “The New Yorker,” is not a biography of Monroe, but instead “rearranges and invents the details of Monroe’s life in order to achieve a deeper poetic and spiritual truth.” The film is an acting showcase for de Armas, who is probably best known for dating Ben Affleck during the pandemic, but she’s also earned accolades from critics, including a Golden Globe nomination for her role in “Knives Out” opposite Daniel Craig. She again starred with Craig in his final Bond film, “No Time to Die.” Ana de Armas is a Cuban-born brunette with big brown eyes. In the preview for “Blonde,” she does an excellent job resembling Marilyn with the help of a platinum wig, but also masters the flirtatious giggle of the starlet as she looks into a mirror. The film also stars Adrien Brody (“The Pianist”), Julianne Nicholson (“Mare of Easttown”) and Bobby Cannavale (“Nurse Jackie”). It will premiere Sept. 23 on Netflix. *** Whatever happened to actor Matthew Fox? I was a big fan of “Party of Five” and “Lost,” but I haven’t seen him in anything for quite a while. — O.S. After the hit series “Lost” ended in 2010, Matthew Fox starred in the post-World War II film “Emperor,” with Tommy Lee Jones, and a handful of other projects, but essentially retired from acting in 2015. This followed his DUI arrest and, prior to that, an assault claim by a female bus driver in which charges were later dropped. Fox took a break to spend time with

A premiere date has not been announced. *** Will there be another season of “The Gilded Age” with Christine Baranski? I love period pieces and hope for more! — Z.D. Yes, HBO officially confirmed in February that there will be a season two of “The Gilded Age,” the tale about a penniless 19th-century young woman (Louisa Jacobson) who moves from rural Pennsylvania to New York City to live with her aunts in high society. The decision to buy a home is significant. Real estate is the biggest investment the average person will make in his or her lifetime, which underscores just how significant the home buying decision can be. The real estate experts at Zillow recently reported that the national median price of a home in the United States is $272,446. However, since the National Association of Realtors reported a record low housing inventory late in 2020, the average house price has been rising rapidly nationwide. The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis estimates the median home sales price at $374,900, and certain states have much higher prices. WOWA, a real estate and finance technology company, says the average sale price of a home in Canada was $679,051 in July 2021. Most people do not have $300,000 to $600,000 in savings on hand to purchase a home in cash. That means they’ll need to rely on financing to pay for their dream homes. Conventional lending Conventional lending refers to when a bank or another financial institution loans a home buyer money to buy a home. This is one of the most common ways to fund a home purchase. Personal credit score as well as credit history help determine eligibility and interest rates for conventional loans. Availability of assets as well as income level are some additional determining factors. Conventional loans are traditionally 10-, 15- or 30-year notes and will require a certain percentage as the down payment to secure the loan. The bank will determine the down payment requirement, which is typically somewhere between 3 and 20 percent. FHA loan A Federal Housing Administration loan is issued by an FHA-approved lender. These loans are designed for low-to-moderate-income borrowers, according to the financial guide Investopedia. FHA loans require lower minimum down payments and lower credit scores than many conventional loans. FHA loans also require mortage insurance up front, plus annually for 11 years or the life of the loan depending on the length of the loan.

HELOC A Home Equity Line of Credit, commonly called a HELOC loan, borrows against the available equity in your home to create a line of credit, much like a credit card. These funds can be used for large expenses or to consolidate higher-interest rate debt on other loans, according to Bank of America. It may be possible to use a HELOC to secure funding to make improvements to a home for those who want to flip it as an investment property. Private money lenders Individuals investing in real estate who do not intend to use a property as a primary residence may turn to private money lenders. These investors can tap into capital from personal connections and lend at specified interest rates and payback periods, according to Fortune Builders, a real estate investing resource. Keep in mind the interest rate will likely be higher with a private lender than through a conventional lender. The repayment term also will be shorter. VA-backed loan The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has a program for acquiring loans through conventional lenders that will be partially guaranteed against loss through the VA. This enables a lender to give better loan terms, such as the option to pay no down payment. Interested parties need to qualify for a Certificate of Eligibility and then work with qualified lenders. People have several options to finance the purchase of a home. These loans can help make the dream of home ownership a reality. Potential buyers are urged to speak with mortgage professionals or financial planners to consider their options.

Stress Incontinence Staying Healthy by B. sTAr hAmPTon, mD

professor of obstetrics and gynecology, division of urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery warren alpert medical school of brown university/ women & infants hospital chief education officer care new england health system

Spring is here, the air is fresh and many of us are looking to get outside and get moving again! However, many women suffer from stress urinary incontinence which often limits our desire to exercise. In fact, it is estimated that nearly 70% of all women suffer from some type of urinary incontinence! Stress incontinence is the unwanted loss of urine with an increase in intra-abdominal pressure. For example, it is the loss of urine with laughing, coughing, sneezing, jumping, running or any activity that creates pressure on the abdomen, and therefore bladder. Women with stress incontinence usually have decreased support of the urethra, or the tube that goes from the bladder to the outside, and this loss of support creates leakage. Sometimes the leakage can be just drops and happen occasionally, maybe with a big sneeze, or during a long run outside. Sometimes leakage can be more significant, and happen more often for women.

T

Regardless, if you are finding that you have incontinence, you should seek treatment based on the level of bother that it is giving you. If you are bothered, you should know there are options for treatment! In most women, the treatment options for stress incontinence will be based on re-creating support for the urethra again. Most conservatively, women can strengthen the pelvic muscles, also known as Kegel muscles, to create strong support around the urethra and decrease leakage. Kegel muscle exercises can be done on your own at home, but often it is beneficial to meet with a specialized pelvic floor physical therapist to make sure you are targeting the correct muscles, and to get a specific exercise

here is always a before and after. As women, our bodies go through changes so extreme and so wonderful that many of us find it hard, or impossible, to navigate our health alone. Pain becomes expected and discomforts accepted. The best way to address pelvic pain head on is to see a physical therapist specializing in pelvic pain. Getting one-on-one hands on treatment in a calm and private environment is the best way to begin to learn how to care for your tight and painful muscles and irritated nerves. You will leave having your questions and concerns eased and hope for a resolution of your symptoms. Combine all the tips listed in this report with an individualized physical therapy program and you will see your life transformed!

5 Myths About the Pelvic Floor 1. It is normal to leak urine when you work out. At no time at any age is it normal for anyone to leak urine. Some workouts may be adding stress to the pelvic floor and challenging those muscles to do their job of keeping you dry. It is important to take a look at your work out and seeing how your fitness routine maybe contributing to the leakage. Coordinating your breathing with movement can help enhance your pelvic floor function—the opposite is also true! If your breath is working against your movements you maybe actually be facilitating the leakage. 2. Going to the bathroom before you need to go is a good idea. Nope. Actually that will likely

4. Sexual intercourse is painful. Sex should not hurt. Pelvic floor muscles are the same type of muscle tissue that you have in the rest of your body. It is possible that your pelvic floor muscles have taught fibers. Unfortunately, this taught state often nay not allow for the normal expansion of tissue needed during intercourse.

3. If you have pain with urination it is a good idea to limit how much water you drink- this way you don’t have to go to the bathroom as much. If you drink less this will make your urine more concentrated. This could possibly make thinks worse

5. Kegels are the answer. If I just do some Kegels I will be fine. Traditional Kegels are concentric—shortening contractions of the pelvic floor. If you are having tight muscle fibers in the pelvic floor when you activate these mus-

regimen to follow. Kegel exercises are like any other exercise regimen – they work if you do them, and you need to keep up with them! However, they are a low-risk option and have been shown to be successful in improving symptoms for women who pursue this option. Another conservative way the urethra can be supported is with a supportive device that is placed in the vagina. These can be disposable devices that are purchased at a local pharmacy, or reusable devices – called pessaries - that a specialist would provide to you after a consultation. These devices are placed in the vagina to give more support to the urethra, and therefore decrease the leakage of urine. The devices

should be comfortable when they are in the vagina and can be inserted and removed easily, with minimal care and maintenance for the reusable pessaries. In studies of women who use vaginal continence devices, approximately 50% reported satisfaction with this treatment option at one year. Finally, a more permanent solution is surgery. The most common and least invasive surgery for stress incontinence is often called a “sling.” A “sling” is a small piece of permanent material that is placed underneath the urethra by a specially trained surgeon through a small vaginal incision. It is a same-day surgery with quick recovery and has been shown to be close to 90% successful in getting patients dry. Of course, there are risks to any surgery, although in general, this type of surgery is relatively low risk. It is important to know that you are not alone if you are suffering from urinary incontinence of any kind; there are treatment options available and you should feel comfortable speaking with your doctor. They may suggest referral to a Urogynecologist or Pelvic Floor Specialist if they feel you would benefit from further expertise, or you can ask for this type of referral. Most importantly, you should seek help so you feel comfortable getting out and getting active again! B. Star Hampton, MD, is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University/Women & Infants Hospital. ARIES (March 21 to April 19) You clever Ewes and Rams love nothing more than to rise to a challenge. So, by all means, if you feel sure about your facts, step right up and defend your side of the issue. TAURUS (April 20 to May 20) You’ve done some great work recently. Now it’s time to reward yourself with something wonderful, perhaps a day at a spa or a night out with someone very special. GEMINI (May 21 to June 20) You love to talk, but don’t forget to make time to do a little more listening, otherwise you could miss out on an important message someone might be trying to send you. CANCER (June 21 to July 22) Your aspect indicates some uncertainty about one of your goals. Use this period of shifting attitudes to reassess what you really want and what you’re ready to do to get it. LEO (July 23 to August 22) Your social life is picking up, and you’ll soon be mingling with old friends and making new ones. But ‘twixt the fun times, stay on top of changing workplace conditions. VIRGO (August 23 September 22) A trusted friend offers understanding as you vent some long-pent-up feelings. Now, move on from there and start making the changes you’ve put off all this time.

LIBRA (September 23 to October 22) You might well feel uneasy as you face a difficult situation involving someone close to you. But you know you’re doing the right thing, so stick with your decision. SCORPIO (October 23 to November 21) You’re a good friend to others. Now is the time to allow them to be good friends to you. Rely on their trusted advice to help you get through an uncertain period. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 to December 21) Family and friends are always important, but especially so at this time. Despite your hectic workplace schedule, make a real effort to include them in your life. CAPRICORN (December 22 to January 19) That project you’ve been working on is almost ready for presentation. But you still need some information from a colleague before you can consider it done. AQUARIUS (January 20 to February 18) Don’t let those negative attitudes that have sprung up around you drain your energies. Shrug them off, and move ahead with the confidence that you can get the job done. PISCES (February 19 to March 20) Aspects favor some dedicated fun time for the hardworking Piscean. A nice, refreshing plunge into the social swim can recharge your physical and emotional batteries. BORN THIS WEEK: You love to travel and be with people. You probably would be happy as a social director on a cruise ship.

Father of the Bride (PG-13) — A new “Father of the Bride” film is now out on streaming! The original version of this film first released in 1950, followed by the popular 1991 remake starring Steve Martin. In 2022, Andy Garcia assumes the father of the bride role, with Gloria Estefan as the mother of the bride. Their characters, Billy and Ingrid, are in the middle of a marriage separation when their daughter, Sofia, announces she’s newly engaged, having proposed to her boyfriend, Adan. Even though Billy doesn’t fully approve of the engagement, he offers to pay for their wedding and keep up a happy-go-lucky facade with Ingrid until the wedding is over. With all the love in the air, can Billy and Ingrid’s story still stand a chance? (HBO Max) Baymax! (TV-G) — You might remember the cuddly robot Baymax from Disney’s 2014 film “Big Hero 6.” Well, adventures with Baymax and the Big Hero 6 cast return for the whole family to enjoy in a new spinoff series. Baymax hasn’t changed much from when we last saw him — still a bit clueless, but always ready to help those around the fictional city of San Fransokyo. Maya Rudolph reprises her voice role as Aunt Cass, while comedian-writer Jaboukie YoungWhite joins the cast. The first episode of “Baymax!” hits streaming on June 29. (Disney+) Halftime (TV-MA) — On her journey to performing the halftime show of Super Bowl LIV alongside Shakira, superstar Jennifer Lopez simultaneously participates in heavy award-season promotion for her mov-

ie “Hustlers.” While J.Lo reaches one milestone in her career by getting the halftime gig, she still feels she must prove her worthiness — as an actress, as a performer and as a female celebrity to be taken seriously. Whether you believe she is underappreciated or not, in this documentary, J.Lo excels in establishing the fact that she truly is one of the hardest working women in her industry. And that, at the very least, should command more respect. (Netflix)

“Baymax!” promo My Fake Boyfriend (R) -– A young man named Andrew is having a hard time trying to let go of his ex, Nico. Andrew often feels neglected and mistreated by Nico, to the point where his best friends, Jake and Kelly, decide to take matters into their own hands. Jake digitally creates Cristiano, a persona that appears online as Andrew’s new man, causing Nico to finally understand what it feels like to be cast off for someone new. But when Andrew organically meets someone new (and real), time starts ticking to get rid of Cristiano and his digital footprint. It’s not as easy as it sounds, though, when your faux boyfriend has 1.6 million followers. (Prime Video) © 2022 King Features Synd., Inc.

Little boys are often terrified when they are taken for a first haircut. All those high chairs, strange men and flashing scissors. So, for generations, some barbers have had special figural chairs for children. The most popular is probably a horse. There are barber chair collectors who have enough room to display them or antique lovers who buy one adult chair and keep it in a home bar or library or even living room to use. But those who dream of having a barber’s chair must remember it weighs several hundred pounds and will be hard to move to another location, especially up or down stairs. The special large metal chairs with the hydraulic parts also may need repair. Today, the most remembered names of barber equipment are Kokens or Belmonts, but one of the oldest is Emil J. Paidar Company from Chicago. It was the leading barber chair company from the early 1900s to the late 1950s. The company chairs were copied by other makers. In the late 1950s, Belmont merged with Takara Chair Sales Company of Japan. Takara started by 1921 and opened in New York in 1959. The new company joined Koken in 1969. The man’s barbershop chair has changed little over the past 100 years except for the upholstery material and more streamlined metal parts, but the child’s chair today can look like a car, airplane, horse, motorcycle, spaceship and more. Cowan auctions recently sold this Emil Paidar Company chair. The front of the chair is a realistic stuffed leather horse that the child sat on for a haircut. It was estimated at $1,500 to $2,500 and sold for $1,375. *** We’re looking for information and price for an old stove. Several names are stamped on it: “Garland Stoves and Ranges, Inland Garland Stove, Michigan Stove Co., Detroit-Chicago, Garland Aerated Oven, Patented Dec 1889.” We think a part for the back is missing. The Michigan Stove Company was founded in 1873. It made stoves, furnaces and heaters, and was the world’s largest stove manufacturer

by the 1890s. Over 200 models of Garland cooking and heating stoves were made. Garland Group was formed in 1995. It became part of Welbilt Company in 2008. Old stoves in good working condition sell for a few hundred dollars. Those in poor condition or with missing parts are hard to sell. *** CURRENT PRICES Typewriter, Remington Rand, Model 1, black, white trim, round keys with silver metal rims, Remington Speed Mechanism, c. 1938, $90. What to know about floor-to-ceiling windows Modern homes showcase many dazzling features, but perhaps none draw as much as instant attention as floor-to-ceiling windows. Often seen in high-rise apartments that boast panoramic city views, floorto-ceiling windows also are right at home in single-family dwellings. Homeowners considering floor-to-ceiling windows may have lots of questions. The following rundown can provide some basic information that can help homeowners decide if floor-to-ceiling windows are right for their homes. Cost Cost is often the primary consideration when mulling a home renovation, and that’s even more significant as the world confronts the rising costs associated with inflation. The cost of installing floor-to-ceiling windows depends on a host of variables, including how many windows will be needed and where homeowners live. According to Modernize®, a service that facilitates connections between renovation-minded homeowners and local contractors, a floor-to-ceiling window wall costs somewhere between $700 to $1,600 per linear foot. Framing and glazing will add to those costs. Homeowners considering floor-to-ceiling windows are urged to receive several estimates for the project prior to choosing a contractor. Lighting and energy efficiency One of the more appealing aspects of floor-to-ceiling windows is all the natural light they allow in. Of course, all that light also can drive up energy costs on sunny summer days. One way around that is to install energy efficient windows. Such windows include extra insulation to prevent cool air from escaping the home on summer days, which can reduce the

need to lower the thermostat on your air conditioning. A wall of glass also can provide less insulation against the cold. The extra insulation in energy efficient windows also helps keep warm air from escaping a home in the winter. Energy efficient windows may cost more than less efficient alternatives. However, over the long haul, a wall of less efficient floor-toceiling windows will likely cost more due to excess energy consumption. Privacy and fading It’s easy to be overwhelmed by the view floor-to-ceiling windows provide, especially in homes surrounded by serene natural settings like woods or properties that abut waterways. But that view outward also provides a view in, potentially compromising privacy. All that extra exposure to sunlight also can cause fabrics to fade over time. Floor-to-ceiling blinds and shades can protect homeowners’ privacy and reduce fading on furniture, but this extra feature will add to the final cost of the project. Smart window tinting is another way to improve privacy and reduce fading, but this feature also will drive up the cost. Floor-to-ceiling windows can be awe-inspiring. Homeowners considering such windows for their homes are urged to do their homework to ensure their homes are well-suited to this unique feature.

BUSINESSSpotlight CRYSTALS & BREWS

Home to the healing powers of crystals, and so much more

For longtime friends Lora Verdelotti and Susan Dulac, opening their store, Crystals & Brews, was so much more than a new business venture; it was the realization that they could help others who, like themselves, were searching for peace, calm, healing, and connection. Both Lora and Sue had turned to the healing powers of crystals throughout their lives and knew that their knowledge of and experience with these gifts from the earth could reach others in a meaningful way. Crystals & Brews is a cozy and tidy shop on Washington Street in Coventry that is home to everything that those who love crystals and healing stones could want or need. The broad selection of crystals has been carefully curated by Lora and Susan who know about each of their individual powers and attributes. There is something here for everyone, whether you are just learning about crystals or have benefited from their healing energy for a long time. Whatever your level of experience, Lora and Sue can guide you through. Crystals & Brews may have just opened in April, but in many ways, it was a long time coming. Lora and Sue had been advocates of crystals for most of their lives; in fact, they also have a busy side-business selling them on Facebook live. Both have always been connected to the earth and each have a large collection of stones of their own. Using Sue’s knowledge of Crystals and Lora’s business experience they were given a new infusion of life through the idea of combining their love of crystals to create Crystals & Brews. Today, this mystical shop of collectibles has

These needs include, but are not limited to, the need for protection, love, calm, connection, peace, the reduction of stress and anxiety, healing, spirituality, strength, mental fortitude, and so much more. These stones, some of which are rough and others which are smooth, all come from the Earth, the greatest source of renewal and energy. It wouldn’t be an American summer get-together without grilled chicken brushed with barbecue sauce. To help you enjoy more time with your guests and not worry about under cooking, we completely precook the chicken in the oven and keep it refrigerated up to 1 day. Then, when you’re ready to dine, just warm up the chicken on the grill and brush on your favorite sauce.

OVEN-STEAMED CHICKEN Serves 12 3 chickens 1½ teaspoons salt 2 lemons 1 large onion 1. Prepare oven-steamed chicken: preheat oven to 425 F. Arrange chicken quarters in large roasting pan (17 by 11 1/2 inches), overlapping pieces if necessary. Sprinkle chicken with salt; top with lemon wedges and onion. Cover roasting pan tightly with heavy-duty foil. 2. Oven-steam chicken 1 hour and 15 minutes or until juices run clear when thickest part of chicken is pierced with tip of knife, turning chicken over halfway through baking time to ensure even cooking. Discard lemon and onion. Refrigerate broth for use another day. Transfer chicken to large platter; cover and refrigerate until ready to grill. 3. Prepare covered grill. Place chicken on hot grill rack over medium heat; cover grill and cook 10 minutes, turning chicken over once. Cook chicken 5 to 10 minutes longer, turning chicken over occasionally and frequently brushing with barbecue sauce until chicken is heated through and sauce is browned. Heat additional barbecue sauce to serve with chicken. For thousands of triple-tested recipes, visit our website at www.goodhousekeeping.com/food-recipes/. © 2022 Hearst Communications, Inc.
