WARWICK VETERANS MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1960 60TH REUNION HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED Warwick Veterans Memorial High School will hold their 60th Reunion on September 18 at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet, 1 Rhodes Place, Cranston, RI. “MURDER AT THE HOWARD JOHNSON’S” TRIP AARP Chapter 2210 is sponsoring a trip to the Newport Playhouse to see “Murder At The Howard Johnson’s” on September 16. The trip includes a delicious buffet luncheon before the play and a cabaret show after the play. Depart from the I-95 Park & Ride at Exit 6A in Coventry at 9:30AM and approximate return time is 5:30PM. Motorcoach transportation provided by Silver Fox Coach. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering curbside pick-up of 3 bags of groceries for $6. Seniors may shop either your alphabet day or Senior day, not both. WEST WARWICK FOOD CUPBOARD The West Warwick Assistance Agency operates a food cupboard at 1293 Main Street serving all West Warwick residents living at or below three times the federal poverty level. We are open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10AM-2PM, unless there is a town-wide parking ban in effect. We offer standard amounts of core groceries based on household size as well as self serve selections of produce, bread and assorted other non-core grocery items we have on hand. COVENTRY PUBLIC LIBRARY LAUNCHES SUMMER MOBILE LIBRARY Coventry Public Library is excited to announce that we have received a grant from the Rhode Island Offi ce of Library and Information Services (OLIS), which will be used to launch a pilot program this summer for a Mobile Library. Our Mobile Library van will bring books, library programs, and services to locations all over Coventry during the months of July and August, 2021.
