A popular hit in TikTok Philippines, acoustic covers on Facebook and YouTube, Kim Chiu's "Bawal Lumabas" is paving its way in the music industry.

Each of us is susceptible to criticisms and judgments. Politicians, celebrities, and other famous socialites are one of those who fall victim to bashing. After the controversial statement of the actress Kim Chui, regarding of her home network’s shutdown, ABS-CBN, due to their expired franchise, internet trolls could not help but poke fun at her gaffe online.

"Sa classroom may batas. Bawal lumabas, oh bawal lumabas. Pero pagsinabing pag, nag comply ka na bawal lumabas..." are just few lines from Chui's statement that gone viral and was dubbed as "The Classroom Law." The actress disclosed that she, herself, was also thrown off balance with her words.

She admitted that the backlash she received online saddens her, but did not dwell on it and chose to see the brighter side of things.

Kim proved to be a good sport and bounced back to her bashers as she released an official song of her quoted statement "Bawal Lumabas." She even made collaboration with fellow artists Adrian and DJ Squammy, which was then followed by DJ Loonyo’s choreography for her song. She also released "Bawal Lumabas" merchandise to raise money for charity. The proceeds will go to food packs and to fellow actress Angel Locsin's test kit project.

Despite the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, Filipinos can still find time to joke around. Being dubbed as the one of the most joyful people in the world, Filipinos will make fun of anything and would unleash their witty sense of humor, may it be simple or grandeur. Indeed, Filipinos doesn’t spend their day without smiling and laughing.
