Applicant must be currently anatomically male gender over the ages of 17 years old. IMPORTANT CONTEST RULES: 1. Bears Perth Incorporated (“BPI”) or the Producer of Mr West OZ Bear Competition (the Contest”) reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse or reject any applications from a prospective Entrant and to eliminate any Entrant from Mr West OZ Bear at any time for any violation of the Rules and Regulations. Decisions of the Producer are final. Entrants will be provided with the contract and rules and regulations for the Title Winner and Runners-Up at the Entrants' Orientation. As a condition of participation in Mr West OZ Bear, all Entrants must execute this contract prior to Mr West OZ Bear. Any Entrant that fails to execute this contract, or otherwise fails to fulfil their obligations under the Rules and Regulations, will be eliminated from Mr West OZ Bear. 2. Entrants will be judged according to 3 sections of contents plus an interview. Entrants will compete and be judged in Casual wear, Minimal, and Fantasy sections. Each category and interview is weighted and scored. 3. Entrants will be responsible for paying their own airfare tickets and hotel for joining the Mr West OZ Bear Competition events in host city. All advertisements must be approved by BPI. And full application must be received before start of Bearwest Festival. Entrants must provide BPI with a short written personality profile. 4. Entrants are responsible for their own required wardrobe to be worn during Mr West OZ Bear. The required wardrobes are: 5.

These guidelines will be announced during the Entrants' Orientation. 9. Entrants are responsible for their own transportation and accommodations following the event schedule and on the day of the Mr West OZ Bear Competition event. 10. Entrants must be present during Underbear Den Night. Entrants must participate in Mr West OZ Bear events outlined at the Entrants' Orientation. The Entrants must arrive at the assigned event venue on time. Entrants must prepare their costume and props (if applicable) in the dressing room. Entrants may have one assistant inside the dressing room. 11. BPI is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged property of the Entrants, their friends or families. 12. The Title Winner and other two or three winners will be chosen at Mr West OZ Bear event. The winners will receive the Mr West OZ Bear sash and will be it custodian while holding the title. BPI reserves the right to distribute the prizes any time within twelve (12) months from the Mr West OZ Bear event day. All prizes are provided to BPI by sponsors of Mr West OZ Bear event and are subject to any conditions and restrictions imposed by such sponsor. Except for sashes, if any sponsor elects, in their sole discretion, to cancel or modify the prizes they have agreed to provide, then the winners' prizes will be so cancelled or modified. BPI including its organizers, members, employees and sponsors and agents, shall not be held responsible or liable for modified or cancelled prizes or any other actions by the sponsors or the grantor of these prizes. 13. The Title Winner will reign for one year, during which if he participates in any other similar events (other than Mr Australasia Bear) will first obtaining the express written consent of BPI. The Title Winner and all Runners-Up must strictly comply with the Contract and Rules and Regulations. Failure to comply will result in loss of the Title. If a Winner’s Title is rescinded or they choose not to continue their duties, 2

If any Entrant or the winners disparages, defames, libels or slanders Mr West OZ Bear, BPI including its employees and agents, any sponsors, contractors, any judge, advertisers, committee members or any volunteers, then such Entrant shall be eliminated from Mr West OZ Bear and stripped of their title and prizes, as the case may be. BPI is the trademark holder and owner of the the Mr West OZ Bear title and reserves and retains all rights, title and interest therein. Use of the title of the Mr West OZ Bear Title is strictly prohibited without the express written consent of BPI. If at any time during their term as Mr West OZ Bear the holder is unable to fully perform his duties, he is subject to rescind this title. Should the Title Winner be rescinded or he relinquishes his title before the end of his reign, all prizes, including sash and trophy must be returned to the BPI within ten (10) working days in the same condition it was given to him. 14. All tabulation results, including all judges' scoring sheets, are the property of BPI. All tabulation results, including judges' scoring sheets, are proprietary trade secrets and are strictly confidential. The final results are not subject to challenge and all Entrants, including any of their representatives, hereby voluntarily waive any right to challenge or otherwise contest the results of Mr West OZ Bear . Any questions regarding to the scoring system must be raised at least one week prior to Mr West OZ Bear. 15. Neither BPI and its employees and agents, nor any promoters, entertainers, judges, staff, volunteers, advertisers and Sponsors BPI shall not be liable for any sickness, injury or accidents suffered by any Entrant or their accompanying parties before, during and after any events or rehearsal in connection with Mr West OZ Bear. Entrants are required to sign a Hold Harmless Agreement with BPI and any delegated contest organizer. Entrants who fail to sign this Hold Harmless Agreement will be eliminated from Mr West OZ Bear. 16. All applications must be accompanied by: 1) a signed copy of completed application; and 2) a signed copy of the Rules and Regulations. 2) Passport or Driver 3

An application is not valid until all items are complete and received before competition event. Incomplete applications will not be considered. 17. BPI reserves the right to amend or supplement the Rules and Regulations at any time. Written notice of such changes shall be provided to the Entrants.
