About BeatFeet BeatFeet was founded by Jude Winwood, a UK qualified teacher, with a unique passion for world music and rhythm running through her veins. With over 10 years’ experience in running interactive workshops for communities, schools, universities and businesses, Jude’s enthusiasm for rhythm and the many benefits of group-drumming inspires our team of expert workshop leaders, who motivate businesses all over the UK.
Corporate wellbeing At BeatFeet we’re passionate about health and wellbeing in the workplace and our core focus is to align the energy of the individual employee with that of the whole team, and ultimately the organisation itself. What to expect in a BeatFeet workshop During a drumming workshop each team member is given their own drum, or if you’ve chosen the Brazilian Samba drumming option, a selection of drums and other authentic Samba musical instruments. Teams are introduced to the instruments’ sounds and playing techniques, and then quickly progress onto learning how to play together as a group. This is done in a fun and non-intimidating way, where even the more reluctant individuals are soon in full flow with invigorating rhythms. With conference energising sessions, large audiences can musically interact with each other, as well as the facilitator, through the use of percussion instruments, simple body percussion sequences and/or the very popular option of boomwhackers!
