My approach to capturing Anti-Art images has been to completely "mess up" the settings on my camera then simply swing my arm & snap a photo of a blur , a manhole, or sometimes you find it.
I'm sure we're all semi familiar with comics in the sense we know the general layout,The panels drive the story each panel either being an 'ACTION' panel or one setting things into motion. Since I was a kid I've hyper fixated on silly things that are outside the box, for example how would insurance work in a world with super villains & super heroes? What are they doing when they're not on the page? Do they use a squat-apotty? As I grew up I still held onto this space between the panels thought, What I've come up with thus far is an is an idea that I've started calling Anti-Art. In it's base line idea it's about capturing & distilling these moments when things are still, when things seem to float, everything feels like it's all coming together, where 'the magic' lives. The style/ technique I've been doing to capture the images I've laid out in this series is rather simple but gives this raw authentic abstract voice to 'Somewhere In Between ' .
