Removes cement residue and haze left after grouting. Designed for all tiles and grout. It comes in a concentrate for diluting options.
Recommended for the initial clean of Microtec inside-outside textured tiles to remove grout haze.

Efflorescence Removal

Removes black spots, mould, fungus, algae and other organic discolorations caused by plants. Effective on tiles, silicone and cement joints, on plaster, stone and masonry.
Citrus grout cleaner is ideal for cleaning and deodorising tiles, grout and other washable surfaces including plastic and vinyl.
Dissolves organic dirt such as wax, oil, grease, tar, fresh paint, sealants, care product residues, etc. and allows them to be removed with water.
Use on Microtec inside-outside Textured tiles where grout additives or boosters have been used. Then, follow up with Cement Residue Remover for the initial clean.

Removes surface residues such as calcium, lime and dirt deposits, soap scum and greasy residues, rust.
Deep cleans into the surface pores to remove to safely lift out mould stains, mildew stains, algae stains, fungus stains, food grease, coffee, tea and other types of foreign matter.
Dissolves inorganic deposits such as cement and mortar residues, residues of flexible grouting materials, efflorescence, rust and calcium deposits. The dirt can then be completely removed from the surface.
Nearly odourless and does not develop any corrosive vapours.

Microtec Tiles
Microtec indoor-outdoor textured tiles create seamless transitions between multiple areas.
◊ If you notice a dull haze just after your new tiles are laid, or you are finding that your tiles are getting dirty very quicklydon’t panic! This will likely be grout residue. The good news is that it’s easily washed off with Beaumonts Microtec Cement Residue Remover by following the instructions on the label.
◊ Grout additives or boosters should be avoided with Microtec or textured tiles. If they have been used, clean the tiles with Lithofin Wax-Off or Resin-EX, first before the initial grout haze clean.
For initial cleaning of Microtec Textured tiles we recommend
Beaumonts Microtec Cement Residue Remover
◊ Dilute up to 1:1 with water
◊ Let the cleaner dwell for approximately 15 minutes
◊ Scrub the surface with a doodle pad or stiff bristle brush
◊ Mop up residue and wash with GreenClean Everyday Tile Cleaner as a final step

◊ Hose the area down to wet the surface.
◊ Scrub or sweep with a strong bristled broom.

◊ To finish, hose the area and remove excess dirt left behind.
◊ For larger areas, work in sections starting closest to the house and work away from the wall.
All Newly Laid Tiles
Tiles look beautiful once laid and are easy to clean. Dirt and grime can still accumulate, so some regular cleaning will keep them looking as good as new.
◊ 24 hours after the grout has dried, all tiles (especially Microtec tiles) should be washed with Microtec Cement Residue Remover following the instructions on the bottle.
HOW TO MAINTAIN
indoor tiles
◊ For everyday or weekly cleaning, vacuum or sweep tiles first to remove loose dust and grit from the surface.
◊ For a thorough clean use Beaumonts GreenClean Everyday Tile Cleaner or Miracle Tile & Stone Cleaner with warm water and a damp microfibre mop. The mop should ‘grab’ the surface and lift off most daily grime with a little pressure.
◊ Avoid the use of overly wet cotton and sponge mops, a microfibre Bona Tile Hybrid & Laminate Surface Spray Mop is superior for a streak-free clean.
◊ Avoid all soap based products as they can leave a thin film on the tiles that will attract more dirt.
◊ Work from one side of the room to the other, and avoid walking on the tiles until they are dry.
◊ Steam mops are a popular choice for polished porcelain tiles.
◊ Never use polishes or gritty, abrasive cleaners on tiles.
