Our warranty requires that proper cleaning and maintenance procedures be carried out during the lifetime of the product. Improper or inadequate cleaning and maintenance procedure will void related parts of the product warranty.
The product warranty will become void if there are any visible signs of product abuse.
Please read this document carefully. Please make sure you understand the recommended procedures outlined in this document. If you do not understand any part of this document please ask for help from your seller or a suitably qualified and experienced installer.
Please use this guide to help keep your floor looking great for many years.
General
site maintenance:
◊ Limit the exposure to harmful UV light. Use blinds, window dressing, window tint or other to minimise the harmful effect of prolonged UV light on your floor.
◊ Limit the exposure to excessive heat. Use air conditioners and or humidifiers to minimise the harmful effect of prolonged excessive heat on your floor.
◊ Keep room temperature range at 15 degrees Celsius – 25 degrees Celsius.
◊ Keep room humidity at an approximate range of 35%50%.
◊ Keep spare planks (if possible) to replace damaged flooring.
Cleaning:
◊ Always keep the floor as clean as possible.
◊ Remove spill immediately with an absorbent cloth or similar.
◊ Remove surface dirt and dust regularly using a vacuum cleaner with soft bristle head or sweep with a soft bristle broom.
◊ We recommend the use of a moist mop (or static mop).
◊ Do not use a wet mop.
◊ Do not use a steam mop.
◊ Use low alkaline cleaners. We recommend suitable BONA floor care products.
◊ Do not use ammonia or bleach.
◊ Do not use any product that may scratch the surface (steel wool or other).
◊ Do not use product that may dull the surface of the flooring.
◊ Scuff marks and stubborn stains may be removed by lightly rubbing with a cloth.

◊ Harsh fluids can also stain your flooring; products such as (but not limited to) dry cleaning fluids, lacquer, paint, nail polish, wood stains, varnish.
◊ Clean frequently.
◊ Do not slide furniture or equipment on the floor.
◊ Use safe lifting methods to move furniture.
◊ Provide floor protectors under all furniture or equipment legs.
◊ Provide floor protectors under chair castors and products with rubber feet.
◊ Make sure the floor protectors are big enough to provide adequate protection to the floor.
◊ Replace the floor protectors periodically and make sure they are free of dirt or grit.
◊ Do not use wax or polish on the flooring.
◊ Avoid pet paws causing damage to the flooring. Keep pets’ claws suitably trimmed.
◊ Rugs or mats may cause the floor to appear different due to limitation of UV exposure and room conditions.
◊ Rugs or mats on the floor may scratch the surface or leave colour stains.
◊ Use mats or rugs in high traffic areas to minimise the wear on the floor.
◊ Debris stuck to the bottom of shoes can scratch the flooring.
◊ Avoid damage caused by high heel shoes and work boots.
◊ Use mats at entry points and encourage people to clean or remove their shoes before entry.

Beaumont Tiles offer a 25 year lifetime structural and surface warranty
At Beaumont Tiles we endeavour to source the best quality and design products available from around the world, allowing us to confidently guarantee the quality of our hybrid flooring.
Our Hybrid flooring comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the flooring repaired or replaced if the product fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Important Information:
Please read the product maintenance and care guide and installation guide located inside your product box.
Warranty Conditions:
The product shall be free of manufacturing defects.
The finish will not wear* to raw material within 25 years if the product is used as intended.
This warranty applies to interior residential only.
The original purchaser of the flooring is offered the warranty. This warranty only extends to first owner and first owners’ site of installation. The warranty is not transferable in the event of a property sale. It is the owner’s obligation to provide proof of purchase, including date of purchase, point of purchase, seller’s details, quantities purchased and any other relevant details pertaining to the claim.
The owner must also prove they are the original purchaser. The owner must also prove/demonstrate the floor is at the original installation site.
Products will not be covered under this warranty if proof of payment cannot be provided.
This product is warranted for indoor use only. This product is not recommended to be used in wet areas such as laundries, bathrooms, toilets or a shower recess. This product can be used in kitchens and living areas.
The flooring must be properly stored (at all times between purchase and installation) in accordance to the installation instructions.
Where product acclimation is required as per the product installation guide the stated period of time must be followed.
It is the sole responsibility of the owner (product owner) to determine the appropriate steps are taken in the preparation of the floor/surface prior to installation.
It is the sole responsibility of the owner to determine if the environmental conditions and site conditions are suitable for the product.
It is the sole responsibility of the owner to install the flooring accordingly to the product installation instructions.
When an incidental spill occurs, it should be cleaned and wiped dry as soon as possible (immediately if possible).
The planks must be inspected prior to installation and any planks deemed not fit for purpose or defective it should not be installed and will not be covered by warranty provisions if installed. Once the product has been installed it is deemed that the product has been accepted by the purchaser/owner.
Faults that have been deemed as defective and could have been seen or detected by the installer/owner prior to installation are excluded from this warranty

The owner must not undertake any repair, removal or replacement of any product under claim without written consent from Beaumont Tiles.
Relative humidity in the area of use must be maintained within a range of 30% to 50%. Room temperature of 15-30°C is recommended.
Heating and cooling: all mechanical systems must be compatible with hybrid flooring. Internal temperature and humidity controls need to be aligned to match performance guidelines for hybrid flooring product. Evaporative cooling systems must be installed with adequate ventilation and operation should be as per system recommendations.
* Gloss/finish reduction, fading and scratches caused by regular traffic are not considered wear through and are not covered by this warranty.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover the following:
• Indentations, scratches, damage caused by negligence or accident for example; water ingress (including flooding), mould, insect infestations/damage, animals, high-heeled or spiked shoes, urine and use in high traffic areas.
• Any defect or excessive wearing caused by abuse, misuse, or faulty installation
• Failure due to structural changes in the subfloor, settling of the building or an uneven subfloor that has not been adequately levelled as per the installation instructions.
• Failure to protect the floor from moisture from the subfloor and other sources.
• Product failure due to site conditions including but not limited to, poor or inadequate substrate preparation, poor installation techniques, unsuitable site environmental conditions, poor storage and handling processes.
• Failure due to incorrect or poor product installation according to the installation instructions.
• Failure to provide required expansion gaps as per the installation instructions.
• Where unsuitable subfloor heating is used.
• Exposure to excessive heat, sunlight or improper humidity in the environment.
• Changes in colour or appearance due to full or partial exposure to sunlight, weather, ageing or refinishing.
• Any product installed with visible defects.
• Improper alterations to the original manufactured product. Alterations or repairs to the manufacturer’s original product will void the warranty.
• Damage from evaporative cooling.
• Failure to maintain adequate ventilation. Most commonly, this may result if areas of floor are closed off for extended periods of time causing excessive heat leading to moisture loss and damage to the floor.
• Improper or failure to maintain or insufficiently protect the flooring accordingly to the care and maintenance guide.
• Failure due to the incorrect or poor acclimation, installation and floor preparation instructions not followed.
• Any fault or damage to the floor caused or contributed by a natural event outside of human control e.g. earthquake, hurricane, tornado, cyclone, fire, flood etc.
• This warranty will not cover damage caused by heavy objects and furniture such as bookcases, billiard tables or kitchen units which should not be situated on any floating installation. This can lead to the floor failing to respond to contraction and expansion, which can cause squeaking and possible failure.

How to report a fault and make a claim:
If the issue is regarding the colour, size, shade, texture, or blemish you should immediately contact (before laying/installation) the sales team in the store where the hybrid flooring was purchased from.
If your question cannot be satisfactorily answered by the sales person in the store, the store can arrange for a claim form to be completed and sent to our Quality department.

Our Action
Once received, the claim will be assessed by our Quality Department and we will advise you of the next steps and action.
A Beaumont Tile representative may be required to visit the purchaser’s property to inspect and assess the claim; prior consent will be obtained by Beaumont Tiles from the purchaser if this is required.
Justified claims shall be at the complete discretion of Beaumont Tiles by providing:
• Replacement with the same or equivalent product
• Repair of the existing flooring
• A cash settlement or compensation, or,
• A combination of the above.
