What is plant stem cell extract?

The purity of nature harnessed by the latest developments in biotechnology – plant stem cell technology is one of the most exciting developments in antiageing skin care, and is found in every NovAge anti-ageing range. Plant stem cells are the precious, immortal, eternal source of all plant cells. Using the latest advances in biotechnology, we study the stem cells of thousands of plants to identify those with anti-ageing properties, and then isolate the precious compounds which deliver the most potent effect.

AgeRelect™ is a unique scientiic skin-ageing study, designed and conducted by Orilame’s own scientists to better understand skin ageing and its impact on perceived age in a global context. The irst phase of AgeRelect™ was conducted with almost 1,000 women, aged 15 to 65. We mapped and analyased women’s facial features using cutting-edge techniques, and photographed their faces using a high resolution imaging device.

Separately, around 600 women were asked to estimate the age (perceived age) of the subjects in the photographs. By mapping the women’s facial signs with their real age against their perceived age, our scientists discovered a clear correlation between certain skin-ageing signs and negative age perception – they identiied the 12 skin-ageing signs that matter.
