Kenton Hopkins MRE, CRS, GRI Kenton Hopkins was enjoying a thriving real estate career in Minneapolis when a buddy invited him to ski Vail. That was in 1973. He’s still here. To say that Kenton fell in love with the Vail Valley is an understatement. ―For me, there’s not a day that goes by without my senses being awakened by the natural beauty of this area,‖ he enthuses. Not that he spends all his time amid the wonders of nature. Kenton continued his real estate career joining Vail Associates Real Estate in 1986. He remained with the company’s Beaver Creek office when Vail Associates Real Estate merged with Slifer Smith & Frampton in 1994. For over twenty years Kenton has worked with hundreds of buyers and sellers completing transactions in nearly every development in Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch, two of the markets in which he specializes. Kenton’s dedication and enthusiasm is reflected in some impressive statistics. He is constantly among Slifer Smith and Frampton’s top five producing brokers, having successfully transacted over $600,000,000 in sales since 1986. Kenton cites several reasons for his success. First of all he has an intimate understanding of the resort in which he lives and offices. Also, Kenton has aggressively continued his real estate education earning a Masters in Real Estate (MRE), real estates most advanced degree. The high level of integrity and business ethics that he employs has allowed Kenton to cultivate significant longterm client relationships. He first listens well to a customer’s needs then understands their motivations, ultimately uncovering then demonstrating clearly how the property satisfies his clients needs. One of the most important phases of real estate is the closing and delivery of the property. Kenton has developed systems that allow these steps to go smoothly for both buyers and sellers. Ultimately, however, when choosing Kenton to represent you as a real estate agent, there are two key factors to remember: Kenton speaks and acts with integrity, he is impeccable with his word. He understands the needs of those he serve and works diligently on their behalf. Having sold property in every development within Beaver Creek, Kenton has the experience and knowledge to get your home sold in a timely and professional manner.
We look forward to you visiting Beaver Creek and showing you 55 North Holden Road.
Ron Byrne Born and raised in Detroit, Ron was engaged in business and marketing by his late teens, including running major tennis tournaments with Rod Laver, Bjorn Borg, Chris Everett, John Newcome and many of the tennis greats. Ron credits these endeavors as key to forming early relationships with meaningful mentors, such as Mark McCormick of IMG. In his early twenties, Ron started a ski business that later won SIA ski retailer of the year award. The success of this business allowed Ron to begin purchasing major pieces of real estate and ultimately led me to his first real estate purchase in Vail – a ski home on Meadow Drive. Never one to be bored, Ron also became a commercial hot air balloon pilot and certified flight instructor. He created yet another marketing business, Promotional Hot Air Balloon Company, and was able to fly with greats such as Maxi Anderson and Ben Abrouso of the Double Eagle flight team who made the first trans-Atlantic balloon flight. By the time he was thirty, Ron recognized how the special and unique town of Vail was a conduit for his passions of development, marketing, sports and the environment. To that end, he started Ron Byrne & Associates Real Estate. The company has flourished throughout the years, not only in selling and developing luxury residential residences in Vail’s most prestigious neighborhoods but also in the commercial realm, including Vail Mountain Lodge & Spa, the Gateway Building and Vail Mountain View Residences. Able to recognize great pieces of property with potential value and combining it with hard work, determination and passion, Ron has created a boutique real estate firm known for its Madison Avenue marketing and high-end real estate. Ron Byrne & Associates has grown to be a major brokerage firm in Vail, with annual sales of $100 million and over $250 million in the development of residential homes, condominiums and commercial projects. Ron credits his wife, Cristina, as not only his best friend but also his top consultant in all of life's decisions. He believes it is the specialness of Vail – its heart and soul - that has allowed him to succeed in business and to raise three children who have the opportunity to enjoy a lifestyle that truly embraces health, love and the pursuit of dreams.

Beaver Creek Resort
Welcome to Beaver Creek Resort At the gate, you leave everyday life behind. That’s why people travel to Beaver Creek, Colorado from all over the world, and many make it a tradition. The drama of rock and sky, the sheer grandeur of this place, is one reason. That it is North America’s World Cup mountain is another. It is also a place of intimacy. A private resort hidden from view, with the power to bring people together. ―The consummate kidfriendly resort.‖ that’s what SKI Magazine has called Beaver Creek, and strolling though the square you can see why. It is a modern, custom-designed resort with the cozy, unhurried feel of a European Alpine village. At this elevation the air is clear, and so are the taste buds. Here you’ll follow in the footsteps of gourmets and food critics. Here you can dine in a snow covered meadow, a pristine aspen glade, a private museum. Beaver Creek regularly wins awards and accolades for its food, wine, service, lodging, safety standards and environmental efforts. It’s a resort where the staff are trained to not just provide what guests want, but to anticipate it. Beaver creek sets the standard of service and has been awarded for the third consecutive year ―Best Guest Service‖ by the National Ski Areas Association. There’s a commitment to service, from lodging quality to ski school and lift operations. Escalators, heated walkways and even warm chocolate chip cookies after a day on the ski slopes along with other amenities are designed to pamper Beaver Creek’s guests. Welcome to Beaver Creek, welcome to your Shangri-La.
The Mountain If World Cup racers refer to Beaver Creek as their favorite place to compete, maybe there is something you should know. Every year, athletes and spectators alike migrate to our mountain top resort for the Birds of Prey Men’s World Cup. But that is only a slice of what Beaver Creek has to offer. From the gentle, manicured slopes of Bachelor Gulch, to the open intermediate trails of Larkspur and Rose Bowl, to the steeps bumps of Grouse Mountain, skiers and riders of all abilities will feel at home on our mountain. At Beaver Creek grooming is our passion. We groom twenty hours a day, seven days a week. Fifty-two operators work ten hour shifts at 11,000 feet behind a turbo diesel engine. The result, 776 groomed acres a day or a total of 106,000 acres per season of pure corduroy for your skiing pleasure. After you enjoy the sweetest, softest terrain in North America, don’t forget about those groomers taking their 3 AM lunch break to get the mountain ready for tomorrow. Your mountain, is our backyard and experiencing nature is a privilege that we do our best to earn. Beaver Creek is 100% powered by wind, and recycles 1.4 million pounds of material every year. Even our trail maps are made with recycled paper. We hope you enjoy our mountain and look forward to making some turns with you.

History of Beaver Creek Beaver Creek is a feast for the eyes; a delight for the senses. The influence of renowned resorts such as Switzerland’s St. Moritz, Italy’s Cortina, and Spain’s Val d’Aran led to the creation of a unique mountain resort full of excitement and village luxury. Originally designed to accommodate skiers of all abilities, Beaver Creek Mountain continues to welcome and challenge those who visit her slopes. From the gentle groomed runs of Strawberry Park to the rugged glades and bump runs of Grouse Mountain, Beaver Creek is enjoyed by a variety of Nordic Sports enthusiasts. When George Townsend first settled in the valley in 1881, he knew he’d found something special- an exceptional mountain, lined with aspen groves and beautiful vistas that would become a world renowned destination. In 1972, Vail continued his vision by purchasing the land and began designing a resort that combined western hospitality and European charm. Obstacles delayed resort completion, but on December 15, 1980, Beaver Creek finally opened to the public. Major events have always found a home at Beaver Creek. The mountain was named as a potential site for the 1976 Winter Olympics. In 1989, the resort hosted the World Ski Championships. For the last several years Beaver Creek has hosted the Visa Birds of Prey ™ World Cup Downhill Ski race which brings together hundreds of athletes as they compete to be named World Champion. Beaver Creek is also popular as a summertime adventure destination hosting such events as the Ultra 100 mountain bike race and the Jeep King of the Mountain series. In December 2005, Beaver Creek celebrated 25 years of resort excellence, and continues to be a resort industry leader in guest service and terrain maintenance.
