Have you recently found a series of small holes on one of your items of clothes? Sometimes a garment which seems perfectly strong and new suddenly out of nowhere breaks up as if something has eaten it. Its a common scenario and its usually one of your favorite items of clothes too. Moths could be the cause of this problem. They thrive of sweat and urine, so any item of clothes with this is present on is at risk if its in an area where a moth infestation is likely to break out. Deciding whether holes in your fabric can be determined by a few factors. Do you store your clothes in a problem zone? Are your rooms humid and damp, have you seen any moths.. You could also see a textile expert to see if your fabric was caused by a fault or not. Perhaps this is a bit far fetched, not everyone knows a textile expert or has the time to painfully decide and or eradicate a moth infestation The good news though is that there are many moth repellent products are the market at reasonable cost. Hanging up a repellent will make sure moths don't settle and lay there larvae. Even if you are unsure whether you have a moth infestation problem or not, its definitely worth trying one of these products. Many people hang repellents on their doors, cote hangers and place capsules in drawers. These are all areas moth larvae can thrive in. Although taking precautions can help, its not always easy in a modern busy environment. Also, you maybe traveling in accommodation etc and simply cannot change the environment, where there could be the risk of clothes moths. You can purchase various insecticides which will be effective in killing moths and their larvae. There are plenty of options open in front of you if you are to go in for natural repellents with absolutely no chemicals at all.
Many people feel more at ease though using a natural moth repellent where no harmful chemicals are used. In this case there are also many options available too.
