STUDIO PRACTICE Project Proposal Name Blog Address Date Rationale I am going to produce a travel guide for Nottingham. This will include a map of all the top places to visit and transport links. I will also produce a small book will illustrations of places to see with a small description. I will also design and propose that this information/illustrations will be available via the means of an app and other digital products. The map will also be seen on signs around the city and in tourist information centres. If enough time I will produce a small animation on how the app is used. Themes / Subjects Subject of Nottingham Themes: -‐ Travel -‐ Guidance -‐ Information -‐ Architecture-‐ buildings -‐ Food and drink Audience / Context The audience will those travelling to Nottingham who don’t know the area. This will mostly be adults aged 25-‐50. Context-‐ The map will be displayed on signs throughout Nottingham. The books will be available from tourist information centres. All this information will be available via an app and other digital means.

Book Map App These will be distributed within a tourist information centre. Information displayed around the city
Practical Skills / Media / Formats
A mix of hand drawn and digital skills. Possible animation skills. In is undecided how the book will be bound. Either saddle stitch bound or a sausage book. The map will be produced at a large scale so that it fits on to various formats Additional Project Information
