Photoshop Contact Sheet 1. Set up an A1 Sheet - Change Document type to Custom - A1 Dimensions W 841 x H 594 mm - Resolution 225 Pixels/inch
2. Creating the contact sheet - File -> Automate -> Contact Sheet II
3. Adding Files to the Contact Sheet - Change the image source to files and browse for the correct files. - Change Document width and height. Remember that this is converted into CM! 84.1 x 59.4 cm - Change the resolution to 225 Pixels/inch. - Adjust the number of columns and rows to fit the number of images.

AutoCAD Mouse Wheel – Pan Tool Space Bar – Start/Finish Command Enter ‘L’ and Press the Space Bar to Start the LINE command. If you’d like to add dimensions then select the first point, type in the dimension and press enter. Pressing the Space Bar after you’ve finished a command will start the previous command. If you’d like to exit a command press ESC. Below is an example of what the commands may look like.
F3 – Osnap ON and OFF F8 - Ortho Tool, Locks horizontal and vertical lines.
Ctrl + Right Click opens up some settings. Click Osnap Settings and select all the object snap modes appart from the nearest.
Check Measurements to make sure there is no mistakes.

If you just select the tool you want to use, then you may not have the correct option. click the arrow and select the right option, if you are unsure then hover over an option for an explanation.
Scale tool - Specify Basepoint, go to reference and choose height to scale it up. Make sure to measure the original height of the image.
Array tool (multiple copy tool) – Select object to copy and multiply, select centre point and adjust the number in the main command bar.
Layers – Select Objects, Click on the Layer in the Menu bar. Name layers to the suitable drawing, e.g. Floor Plan, Chairs/Furniture, Interiors. Colour Layers and adjust line weight.

Presentation Layout Layout 1 – Right Click on the tab and click on page setup manager – modify – Adjust Page size and scale to 1:1 Select view port – Right Click – Displayed Locked Template – File – New – Sheet sets – Arch Metric Copy drawing – Ctrl + C – Click on original layout sheet – Ctrl + V
Sketch Up
Sketch up uses 3 axis, X,Y and Z.
Length and dimensions displayed in the bottom right of the screen.

Grouping Objects Right click – Group (keep objects together) Double click – Edit group Right Click – Explode (to un-group)
Creating a 3D shape - Create a 2D face using a drawing tool - Draw a line/shape (Creating a Path
- Use the Follow Me Tool (which means it takes the Face and follows a path) and move it around the path made.
Spiral Staircase
Polygon (4xN sides)
1, Start with drawing a 12 sided polygon
2, Select a sector using the Line tool, Use the move tool and remove the sector from the polygon.
6, Select the spiral stair case pieces by holding down Ctrl and Left Clicking Once all is selected, Select Move Tool and Move the Stairs away.
3, Use the Push and Pull tool to add a step of 220mm . Then Select the shape and Make a Component.
7. Select a component and create a bannister by using the circle tool and the line tool, to fill out the bannister use the follow me tool.
8. Add Some coloured materials and then you’re done.
4, Select the Shape, Select Rotate tool – Click Along an edge – Press Ctrl to Copy, Type in x11 to Copy Multiple sectors side-by-side.
5, Select whole polygon and Select Move Tool – Click a point on the base – Press Ctrl to Copy, Type in x18 to Copy Multiple sets.

Match Photo Photoshop Landscape – Placing a model onto an Image/Photograph. Open your model on Sketch up. Import a background image and select match photo before selecting OK. Use the Yellow Line to select the horizon line, use the green and red tabs to position the model
Create Separate Layers – Name and Colour them Render Out (Remove all other layers) - Background and Whole Model - Structure Glass Susan Land - Shadows - Edges
File – Export – 2D Graphic Options – Resolution – Client Board A4 Image – 300 Pixels/Inch (2400 x 3600)
