Welcome

Call to Worship: Psalm 95: 4-6 *Hymn - #473 For the Beauty of the Earth Prayer of Confession

Gracious God, Lord of life; You know each of us better than we know ourselves. You see our strengths and weaknesses; You know our joys, sorrows, and fears. You know how we struggle to break free from sin’s powers. We cannot escape the desire to run our own lives. Our only hope is in You, who can heal every wound and repair every heart. Wipe away our sin, remake us into new people, and give us the vision and strength to live for You each day as a soldier for Christ Jesus. In His name we pray.

Silent Confession Confessional Response - Kyrie Kyrie eleison; Christe eleison; Kyrie eleison. Translation: Lord have mercy; Christ have mercy; Lord have mercy.

Assurance of Pardon: 1 Timothy 1: 15-17 *Congregational Response to God’s Grace: Gloria Patri

*Affirmation of Faith

The Apostles‘ Creed, Page 14 Hymnal

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Maker of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ, His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.

Concerns and Prayers of Our Church Family

The Lord’s Prayer [in unison]

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive us our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and power, and glory, forever.
