CLOSING PRAYER & LORD’S PRAYER [in unison] Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

CLOSING HYMN 280 AMAZING GRACE, HOW SWEET THE SOUND! Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found, Was blind, but now I see. 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed! Through many dangers, toils, and snares, I have already come; 'Tis grace has brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home. The Lord has promised good to me, His word my hope secures; He will my shield and portion be As long as life endures. When we've been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, We've no less days to sing God's praise Than when we'd first begun.

HYMN 543 ABIDE WITH ME

Psalm 124: 9

OPENING HYMN 9 O COME, O COME EMMANUEL O come, O come, Emmanuel, And ransom captive Israel, That mourns in lonely exile here Until the Son of God appear. Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel Shall come to thee, O Israelc! O come, Thou Day‐spring, come and cheer Our spirits by Thine advent here; Disperse the gloomy clouds of night, And death's dark shadows put to flight. Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel Shall come to thee, O Israel! O come, Desire of nations, bind All peoples in one heart and mind; Bid envy, strife, and discord cease; Fill the whole world with heaven's peace. Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel Shall come to thee, O Israel!

PRAYER OF CONFESSION

Abide with me: fast falls the eventide; The darkness deepens; Lord, with me abide! When other helpers fail and comforts flee, Help of the helpless, O abide with me.

God consoles us in all our affliction, So that we may be able to console those who are in any affliction. For just as the sufferings of Christ are abundant for us, So also our consolation is abundant through Christ.

Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Friends, know that Jesus Christ is with us and be at peace. Amen.

To the triune God, the source of all love and all life, Let us offer our prayers.

Swift to its close ebbs out life's little day; Earth's joys grow dim, its glories pass away; Change and decay in all around I see. O Thou who changest not, abide with me.

For all who are in need of healing, Lord, in your mercy, Hear our prayers.

I need Thy presence every passing hour; What but Thy grace can foil the tempter's power? Who, like Thyself, my guide and stay can be? Through cloud and sunshine, Lord, abide with me. I fear no foe, with Thee at hand to bless: Ills have no weight, and tears no bitterness. Where is death's sting? Where, grave, thy victory? I triumph still, if Thou abide with me. Hold Thou Thy cross before my closing eyes; Shine through the gloom and point me to the skies: Heaven's morning breaks, and earth's vain shadows flee; In life, in death, O Lord, abide with me.

He Shall Feed His Flock Like a Shepherd from Messiah by G. F. Handel

He shall feed His flock like a shepherd; and He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those that are with young. Come unto Him, all ye that labor, Come unto Him that are heavy laden, and He will give you rest. Take His yoke upon you, and learn of Him, For He is meek and lowly of heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
