In April 2000, the Government introduced measures to help charities reclaim the tax supporters have already paid on their contributions. Please complete your details below and overleaf to help the Shakespeare Globe Trust even more at no additional cost to yourself. I would like the Shakespeare Globe Trust (Registered charity 266916) to treat all donations I have made for this tax year and the four years prior to the date of this declaration, and all donations I make from the date of this declaration until I notify you otherwise, as Gift Aid donations. I understand that I must have paid 25p United Kingdom income and/or capital gains tax for each £1 I have donated, in the tax year.

The Supporting Wall is a prominent feature on the main Globe Exhibition staircase, seen by many thousands of visitors each year.
Postcode
It consists of 50 large copper plates, each engraved with the signatures of supporters. Some donors were enthused by their visit, others by a performance, or a desire to remember a family member in a unique way. All are united in their wish to further the aims and aspirations of the Globe.

I’d like this name to join the supporting wall
Many well-known theatrical figures have left their mark in this way; signatures added to the wall appear alongside names such as Simon Callow, Felicity Kendal, and Vanessa Redgrave.
(please print the name in block capitals on the line below)
Please sign the name clearly and boldly in the space below, using black ink and only inside the box. For more than one signature, please use a second leaflet. If a signature cannot be obtained, please print the name and contact us to discuss print styles.
We invite you to join the wall or nominate another person, perhaps as a gift to celebrate a special occasion, or as a memorial. Your chosen signature will be etched onto a copper plate and will form both a beautiful wallcovering and a lasting testament to your generosity.
