Dominik Wysocki We had long known about Dominik from his time in local junior football and were incredibly excited that he chose to join our program when he had a host of opportunities offered to him. One of the most technically gifted players we have ever had on the program as well as quick, Dominik stood out from the crowd. Our coaches didn’t hesitate to use their contacts to put Dominik’s name out there to professional clubs. This quickly led to visits from scouts from Leicester City, Peterborough, Wallsall and Port Vale. Dominik received trials at three of the four clubs and was incredibly unlucky not to receive a professional contract offer.

“One of the most technically gifted players we have ever had on the program”

This season he was put forward by Paul Curtis as one of five representatvies to attend the England Colleges National Team trials. After being one of three Tresham players to make it to the final thirty of the selection process out of four hundred players, Dominik was selected to the final squad. He has since gone on to play Australia under 17s, Italy under 18s and Chelsea F.C under 18s at Cobham.

OUR SUCCESS STORIES

Mate Kadar

Mate Kadar Mate joined the academy after recently moving to the country. He immediately showed his talent during his first training session and began as a first team regular within the academy and attracted interest from professional clubs. During his second year with us he gained international recognition by being called up by Hungary for both beach football and Futsal.

Ade Yusuff

After graduating from Tresham, Mate returned to Hungary where he has enjoyed a career playing professionally in his home country for Kelen SC.

Ade Yusuff Ade joined Tresham Football Academy in September 2012 after he was relased from Stevenage Borough F.C.

“He immediately showed his talent during his first training session”

Upon his arrival at Tresham he very quickly caught the eye of professional coaches with his pace, power and finishing ability. As a result, he was invited to Ipswich Town F.C for a six-week trial where he competed for a professional contract. It was a great experience and although he didn’t make the team Ade caught the eye of Dagenham and Redbridge during a friendly game whilst at Ipswich and they offered him a two year professional contract as a result and he scored twice on his football league debut.

Connor Furey Connor joined our program in 2018 after being a part of one of the most successful Sunday league teams the local area has ever seen. Connor very quickly established himself as a first-team regular and capped off an excellent first season with us. Connor scored the winning goal to win us our first ever national title in April 2019. After an impressive start to his second year, Connor was invited to a two week trial at Mansfield Town F.C. Since graduating from Tresham, Connor has gone on to establish himself in nonleague football playing for clubs such as Stamford F.C and Corby Town F.C. Connor Kennedy

Connor Furey

Connor Kennedy Having joined us from a different football program in 2014 Connor really hit the ground running with his all-action style of football. This very quickly led to him establishing himself in the Corby Town F.C first team in their title winning side and led to Premier League side Leicester City F.C inviting him for a 6 week trial. He came away with a lot of credit and this has only spurred him on to become one of the very best local non-league players and recently he captained Kettering Town F.C and now at Peterborough Sports in the National League North.

OUR SUCCESS STORIES

Dion Sembie Ferris

Dion Sembie Ferris Dion is without doubt one of the most talented players we have ever had the pleasure of working with. Lightning quick, fantastic movement added with a brilliant work rate meant Dion quickly attracted a lot of interest from professional clubs. This led to a trial at West Ham United F.C and upon his release ‘he was’ offered at Trial at Colchester United F.C who offered him a two-year professional contract. This was followed up by another two-year deal after winning the Football League Youth Cup and made his professional debut for the first-team in a break out season where he created the winning goal on the final day of the season live on Sky Sports that kept them in League One. He has since played for Peterborough Sports in the National League North and has recently signed for Scunthorpe United in the National League to become a professional footballer once again.

Lee Anderson

Lee Anderson Big, strong and quick, Lee was always a real handful for opposition defenders. Lee has enjoyed a stellar non-league career at Brackley Town F.C in the National League North where he won the FA Trophy at Wembley and after finishing as the clubs top goalscorer in 21/22 he was signed by National League giant Boreham Wood F.C.

DREW

Subject: Sport Level 3 and Football Academy Previous school: Corby Technical School

“I’ve played football since I was four and wanted to experience studying something different after I finished school. The Football Academy at Tresham College is perfect because we train four times a week but are also working towards an academic qualification. I currently play for Corby Town, as well as playing a match once a week in College. Being part of the Academy has really helped my game; my attacking side is better and I feel more comfortable with the ball and am now able to play well under pressure. I enjoy studying various aspects of the course, from psychology to the skeletal system and the background of sport and how things like religion and ethnicity affect it. Our tutors are very good; they all play football. They took us to Barcelona last year to watch the team play and look around the city. The tutors also organised for some people to come in and talk to us about American scholarships. Once I finish here, I am going to Northeastern State University, Oklahoma, to play football and study Sport Management. If all goes well at university, I am hoping to qualify as a Sports or PE teacher.”

Subject: Girls Football Academy

“I decided to come to Tresham College as I really enjoyed sport at school. After speaking to my teachers, I decided that college would be the best path for me. I have completed nearly three years at the Girls Football Academy. During this time, I have been given many opportunities and have been supported by all of my tutors from the very beginning. I have also made some great friends who share the same interests as me on this course. After I complete this course, I am staying on to do a university level course. I would like to become a PE teacher when I finish studying and with the support from the tutors, I definitely think I can achieve my goal.”
