Next season will see exciting developments for Bedford Town’s youth teams as two new facilities will be fully utilised for the first time. ALL STAFF FULLY CRB CHECKED Younger Eagles have already enjoyed the use of AND QUALIFIED exclusive facilities at Fiona Way, off Norse Road in Bedford, but now the older teams will also have their own home with the superb facilities at Kings field. Kings Field is located on the Great Ouse Way between Biddenham, Bromham and Clapham and will be the new home for Bedford Town’s youth development sides from under 12 and above. The youth teams will be able to enjoy the facilities that include a pavilion with a small function room, kitchen, and possible bar. These will also be open for community use in due course. Youth Chairman Dennis O’Meara, along with the late David Taylor, worked tirelessly to get both Fiona Way and Kings Field leases secured, he said, “We are delighted to have finally secured these fantastic facilities for the Football Club. I am sure David will be smiling down on us with pride as to how far we have come with his help and support along the way. It is another positive step forward that will provide the necessary foundation from which to grow the Youth Section and support our drive for continuous improvement.
