Halloween is going to be very different this year so here’s our guide to how you can still have loads of Halloween fun!

Activities From Saturday 24th October to Sunday 1st November you can gather your little monsters for a ghoulishly good day out at Wrest Park in Silsoe. Follow the trail to solve creepy clues and gather round to listen to spooky stories. There’s a frighteningly fun fancy dress competition every day! You can also bring your family along to join their ghost-hunting storytellers on a trip through the shadows of Wrest Park’s woodland trail betweenThursday 29th October and Saturday 31st October. With well-told tales full of spooky, strange and silly goings-on, this Halloween walk is sure to get you into the spirit of the season. Tours at 5.30pm, 6.30pm & 7.30pm. Booking for all activities is essential!

Jordans Mill in Biggleswade will be running a Halloween Activity Trail for younger ones from Friday 23rd October to Sunday 1st November so pop along for some spook-tacular fun – visit www.jordansmill.com for more information.

If it’s a real fright you’re after join Don’t Get Locked In escape rooms in Bedford for some terrifying fun in Extortion and The Secret Hut. ‘Extortion’ is set in an apartment in Bedford, a game with a creepy twist you and your friends are invited to come play between Saturday 17th and Saturday 31st October. The Secret Hut, a 1940’s themed room will also be turned into a dark and creepy game. Expect live actors in the rooms on selected days and times between. Stine after the writer’s imaginary demons are set free on the town of Madison, Delaware. Pumpkins Halloween just wouldn’t be Halloween without a carved pumpkin adorning your doorstep or windowsill. Whether you want to stay traditional or fancy being more creative, there are hundreds of free templates you can download online. Finally, although Trick or Treating will probably not be recommended this year, we have seen a lot of areas promoting special ‘Social Distancing-friendly Halloween Window Trails!’

People are being encouraged to ‘Dress’ up their window in their scariest Halloween designs for friends and neighbours to enjoy, so keep an eye out on social media for events in your area.
