Now in its 53rd year, the Bright Autumn Festival is one of Australia’s longest running community events. A variety of activities and entertainment as well as the Open Gardens run both during the day and evening throughout the Festival. Gala Day is Saturday 2nd May and the theme for this year’s parade is ‘The ANZAC.’
A celebration of all that is Italian – from art, religion, food, wine and sport. Enjoy cooking demonstrations, boutique winery tours, mushroom forages, religious celebrations, heritage displays, soccer matches and bocce competitions, plus a re-enactment of the colourful living chess match first performed in Italy in the 15th Century. 7
