These projects have provided me with the opportunity to build stronger community ties, along with my professional portfolio. The Helen Knoll Foundation is a non profit whose mission is to stop breast cancer before it starts through education, advocacy, and subsidized screenings. I completely re-branded them, creating a new identity package. I also created a wide array of materials, including the collateral for their Mothers Day 5K. For that project, I handled sign design, button making, online ads and banners, and created a sponsorship booklet.

We Are FAIR is a non profit whose mission is o foster a community of parents, students, and educators with resources for telling our diverse history that is Fair, Accurate, Inclusive, and Respectful. 12
The Lesbian Wellness Project is a non profit whose mission is to promote positive health practices and expand access to and use of culturally competent care through education, advocacy and support. I am the Creative Director for this non profit and have been responsible for the brand development and creation of all the print and digital materials so far. This had included a recurring story telling workshop, art shows, and the running of the women’s health area at the San Diego Pride Festival for the last 2 years.

“Butch, Please!� is a showcase of stories about our non-typical experience with health and wellness. In particular, non-gender conforming individuals can have a complicated relationship with their bodies, and this can impact their health. Side Projects
The Coffee Break is a coffee shop at Landmark Aviation, an airport for private planes. I created hand drawn signage and a ‘how to’ coffee making book for the iPad as an interactive PDF.

This is a selection of the screens I created as an interactive PDF to be used in barista training. The items on the drink menu page are live and hyperlinked to the respective pages. This is a combination of my illustration, design and barista skills.
As you probably noticed, many of my projects included button design. I offer handmade, small batch buttons for organizations and events. I have taken on commissions where I edit photos or create new graphics for instant, tangible, long lasting promotional materials.
