Second Asian Apicultural Association Conference, Indonesia 1994

Indonesia will play host to the Second AAA Conference which will be convened in June or July 1994. The objectives of the Conference will be to improve knowledge of honey bees and beekeeping: to facilitate the exchange of information, ideas and experience in apiculture and to strengthen relationships amongst Asian nations.

Topics in the Conference programme will include: bee biology, bee pathology, beekeeping technology, bee products, bee flora and pollination, beekeeping economy and apiculture extension.

It is estimated that over 200 people will attend the Conference.

The International Steering Committee will be comprised of representatives from the member countries of AAA.

The Local Organising Committee will be formed between AAA and the Government of Indonesia.

The AAA Membership fee is $20 per year. This includes four issues of Beekeeping & Development and AAA Newsletter supplements.
